Cheap DDR4 Ram that works well with my intel 8th gen i3 8100
I got this ram as it appears to be on the compatible list for ASrock Motherboard with the 8th Gen Core i3 8100 and it works brilliantly. It is basic DDR4 2400 RAM with no heat sinks - but I'm not overclocking so don't see a need for it. BIOS detected it and the system starts without an error - perfect bit of kit

The item was sent from America in a jiffy bag and was smashed to pieces by the time it got here

Our mom's Dell Inspiron 3471 i3 only came with 4 GB RSM. The new Windows 11 updates really require a minimum of 16 GB RAM. To take advantage of dual channel processing, I replaced her old 4 GB and 8GB RAM from the only 2 RAM slots on the motherboard with these 2 16 GB for a total of 32 GB. They have the same specs as the RAM sold by Dell for $169 per stick of 16GB DDR4 UDIMM RAM, so this was a much better price point for 32 GB. I didn't fully seat the RAM on the first reboot, so the tower blinked orange instead of powering on as the PC indicated "Hey, I need some RAM here!" Once it was fully seated and clicked into place, the PC detected the RAM right away and was up and running. It now boots faster than I have ever seen it do in 4 years. Prior to the RAM upgrade, her PC was painfully slow with the dreaded Windows hourglass every few seconds. I also cloned the old 1TB HDD to a 2TB SSD and now the computer runs like it should. It's almost like a brand new PC without the high price tag.
