Generally speaking, most cast iron products are gonna hit the mark because well, it's cast iron. It's a time-honored tool used to cook everything from breakfast to the world's greatest steaks. This one in particular is a favorite. It's big enough to host a pretty large cut of meat, yet small enough to maneuver in my tight kitchen. It heats up particularly fast, and I'm just one person cooking for myself so I find it's the right size to fill up with food and have a feast. Best of all, it's a Lodge so it's affordable, high-quality and comes PRE-SEASONED. That last bit is huge. I love this thing. You can really take this thing wherever. I'm planning to have steak and eggs atop a mountain some day and I'll be bringing this thing along no questions asked. I imagine it'd fit right into any camping gear setup you can think of.
