Short and Simple
Simple activities, nice short instructions, and I love that it includes an age range for each activity.

I should have reviewed this book at the local library instead of paying for it. Most of the ideas are things that I already know. The one nice thing is that it is indicates which individual skills the play works on, so it would be good for someone who is new to playing and being creative with toddlers.

There are really fun and simple activities described. However I would have loved if there was a bit more drawings/photos to illustrate the activity to directly see what I’m working towards or what it’s about instead of having to study the text to find that out. When on a rainy morning you’re scrolling through the book, it would be easier to find a suitable activity like that. Also it would be nice if you could find activities indexed by materials used. If I’ve a bunch of empty bottles it would be nice to quickly find options what to do with them for example.

Just received this book and I have to say this is excellent, light weight but brimming full of inventive activities just when I'd given up thinking of new ones. This book doesnt have the usual activities you have already done which is why I like the book so much and gave it 5 stars. Its split into sections such as filling up a rainy day, 5 senses, lets pretend and holidays which makes it easy to dip in and out. Only problem now is deciding which activities to do first!
