perfect little sewing kit for just in case!! very easy to use with great variety

Perfect small kit.

For sewing stuffed animal thread failures , patching up a tear in my shorts , etc for over a decade I used kits you'd find at the Dollar Store but a couple of years ago they stopped selling them in my area so when I used up the last of my last thread I decided to try something inexpensive but not bare bones. This one really fit the bill with 1 exception. The threader(s) this kit came with are worse than suck. Both broke the first time trying to use them . I bought some much better quality ones a few years back for my daughter when she took up sewing and it came with more than she needed so I grabbed one of them . Problem solved. For what I do this kit will most likely outlast me if I don't lose it other than restock threads as they empty out . I can use my wife's sewing machine to refill these spools to boot instead of by hand . The only a few sizes of needles is no biggie to me as I only use the biggest size included in this kit anyway . If you want a sewing kit with goods that are capable of lasting a few years this one is a great value . Everything in it is ok quality, nothing awesome and nothing crappy with the exception of the poor excuse for garbage needle threaders .

Practical little sewing kit. Has everything one would need for minor at home repairs and a very reasonable price. The products included may not be the highest quality, or made for professionals, but this kit isn't meant for that. It's a simple at home kit. I would buy again. Would be a great gift for someone just moving into their own place. You never know when you’ll need this.

Perfect little kit for taking camping or just keeping in the junk drawer for the small repairs. Has the basic colors that will blend with anything you have really. The case is perfect for keeping everything organized too.

I hand see a lot of things, and I love this kit! This is literally one of my favorite things I own. It sounds silly cause it's just a 5 dollar sewing kit, but it's so great. The little scissors are perfect for snipping thread! This kit makes taking my sewing projects on the road a lot easier. I do buy my own thread to use though, so the tiny spools are only there for if I had needed to do an emergency repair on some clothing. I've had my kit for about 5-6 years now, and all of the things, scissors, zipper, needles, etc, still work great.

Returned. Too big for my travel kit

Somewhere back in time, traveling in Europe, I'd gotten a little travel sewing kit...that was about...oh, a million years ago. Suffice that little snap case did its time, and in recent years would drop needles out of the sides, and darn near groan each time I went to open it...so...in my conscientious kindness I thought..well, surely they still make these? Why, yes, they do! Ohhhh myyyyy, so many choicesI scrolled, I read, I researched, I scanned pictures, I skimmed reviews....yep - I did my homework, annnnnd it paid off splendidly! I took this one out of the package and was pleasantly validated that I had, indeed, 'done good.' I want to say, for any who have established feelings for their 1900s (we needn't name a decade!) sewing kit...that it is, indeed, time to retire it and get this delightful new sewing kit. You'll feel very snazzy, because one should never underestimate the pleasure it is to have everything you need, at your fingertips, when you're having to make a repair. Huzzah!
