Women's Targhee 3 Waterproof Hiking Shoe

Very comfy walking shoes, wide fitting with plenty of toe room. It did take some time to wear in as a little stiff to start with, but fine with thicker socks. Have had for some time and are waterproof so far. I do spray with Nikwax waterproofer occasionally.

Replacement for wonderful day-to-day walking/ hiking shoes. Wide toe plate has removed all question of blisters. They do feel stiff at first, but after a few outings not a problem, and I can say they are the most comfortable pair of walking shoes I’ve ever owned.

As noted by another reviewer, these only lasted about 6 months (I purchased them in June 2024). Bearing in mind that I only walk my dogs twice a day for approximately 35 minutes each walk, and usually only on pavement, that's not great (which is why I've removed 1 star). But I'll come back to that.. I'm 43 years old and have been searching for, ohhh let's see here, nearly 43 years.. for a shoe that fits, is comfortable, doesn't leave blisters, is waterproof.. It's taken this long to find it. I did immediately consider sending them back when I first tried them on. There is a bit of rub around the ankle at first, but that stopped after a couple of days, and it never left blisters. The shape of this shoe is also ugly as hell, but when your feet have suffered for this long, you learn to embrace practicality over aesthetics. This is the first shoe I've ever purchased, which claimed to be waterproof and actually followed through on that promise. In the beginning, it seems to be fully water proof, whether walking through puddles or even in heavy rain. That does diminish after a few wears, but not by too much. I'm not a toddler, I don't go splashing in puddles, and at my age, I'm also "smart enough to come in out of the rain". So reduced waterproofing isnt an issue. These shoes are still holding their own against the wet in thick sodden grass and in a moderate rain, which is all I've ever asked for... As mentioned, 6(ish) months in, and the shoes need replacing. The sole near the heel is worn down almost to the inner sole, and there's evidence of the part of the sole nearest the toe coming away from the upper. In spite of this, I find that I really *really* like wearing comfortable shoes. So, I will be buying these again, as often as I need to. It would be fantastic if the company would improve the longevity of the shoe, even if it meant charging a little more.

I have had a pair of these boots for around 18 months and they are very waterproof , have excellent grip and are very comfortable having a wider toe area and a good fitting heel . I ordered this pair for my wife and she is of the same opinion , we have completed 3 /10 mile walks a no complaints ,magic !

I bought these to replace my old Keens which got full of sand and wet in a storm on the Fisherman's trail, I had to leave them in Portugal. I've now worn this new pair on two walks. Mud, rain and hail. They are sturdy, comfortable, waterproof and grip well in slippery mud.

I ordered the shoe on the 20th April 2024. The shoe was comfortable straight out of the box and waterproof. I used them for dog walking and they were great for wet grass and kept my feet dry. The shoes were well looked after. Less than 3 months later, the fabric along the upper sides of the shoe became worn and cracked, causing the shoe to let in water and my feet getting soaked. I cannot return them as its past the 30 days and I could not find a way to contact Keen when I looked on the Keen Store on Amazon. This was a very expensive pair of shoes for less than 3 months wear.

I love these shoes I have had them for years now. Would buy again. Nice touch of pink/purple to add subtly girliness to the natural browns. So comfy! No blisters Perfect for my size five wide feet. And no smell after a long walk!

I took my size but it's still way too big and loose, even after wearing thick socks. If you want it snug, better get one size down. I had to returned it coz it's too heavy and bulky to walk in. Still prefer to wear trail running shoes for hiking than an actual hiking shoes.

Bought this colour as it was on offer. Shoes looked like it's been in the warehouse for a while or maybe it was a display pair, has visible scratches on both shoes. Can understand that shoes on sale might have some minor defect but the condition of this pair somehow spoils the keen brand name, and especially when I was not informed of the condition of the shoe before buying. Since it was a hiking shoe, I comforted myself that the scratches will not matter after a first wear anyway.

I walked in these for 2 hours they are very comfortable, got these in size 8 nice wide toe
