Ordered this three-pack kite set for folks who have never flown kites. Set up was easyish. There are two rods and the line that need to be attached to the kites. The hardest part is getting the wind, positioning yourself correctly. Once we figured that out, the kite took off and stayed afloat. It was too easy. The quality seems fine, as they took several dives into the sand before we caught the wind.

Nice kites! They arrived right on time in good packaging. I had them flying the same day they came! THEY BOTH FLY WELL. ♥ All components were in the package. Assembly was easy. I did struggle trying to open the swivel hook (very tight) to attach the string to the kite's loop. So take a pocket knife or small pliers with you (just in case) if you assemble the kite away from your home. Pay attention to how you unfold them so you can refold them to put back in the nice storage/travel pouch they come in. They are too new to rate endurance, but they seem to be made fine, and are a fair price for the product and quality. I'm glad I got the 2-pack because it's fun to fly them with a friend! The blue one is pretty but doesn't contrast against a clear sky as well as the green one, so consider your colors when ordering, if that is important to you. I would recommend these kites.

Ordered the 2 pack of these kites. Got the multi-color and the green. They arrived quickly and exactly as described. They do require some assembly before you start flying them, but it was simple and done in a matter of seconds. These kites are sturdy and pretty big!! We were surprised as the packaging was so small. Our kids loved them! The 12 year old and 16 year old were able to fly them on their own. The 3 year old needed help getting it started but after that she was able to also fly them! The wind doesn't have to be just overly powerful, just a little bit of wind and they will take off. My husband got one so high in the air it was amazing! Functioned perfectly and still do every time we take them out! I was not prepared for them to be just great quality! Fun time for kids and adults alike!

The very first time I tried this kite was on the beach with my grandson. What could go wrong? ;-) Well, in this case, nothing. It's a beautiful and large kite. Very well designed and executed. Fiberglass rods (instead of wood); a swivel latching attaching kite to reel, with braided cord. Kite went up immediately and quite high. Grandson had no problem maneuvering it. Taking a kite out for the first time on the beach with grandchild could lead to disappointment. Not on this day! A pleasurable experience for all. I'll likely get some more...and their reels look like they're worth trying out. ***UPDATE--Unfortunately, after only 2 flights the "tails" are becoming frayed. While the kite still flies well--and I expected some fraying over time--it's rather disappointing that this occurred with only two flights!

Very simple kites. But fly VERY easy. Im an amateur flyer and got these to share with my kids so my “nice” ones dont end up in a tree. We had some real gusty santa ana winds come thru san diego. Our cul-de-sac is not a great spot to try kite flying. But we gave it a go with the “cheap ones”. I pulled out a couple and these ones really shined. We had fits and starts with the others which were deltas and diamonds. They were even about the same size. The gusty wind just wouldn't keep them up. These ones however, did great! Since the winds were erratic they would falter but if you were paying attention, you could keep the kite up in the air.

This is a great kite - packed in a suitcase for travel to the beach; very easy to assemble; perfect dimensions for easily catching the wind and maneuvering. Would Buy Again!

Let me tell you a story: I bought this kite probably close to a year ago give or take, today was a perfect windy day so I thought, “yes, we willl take the kids to the park and fly the kites it’ll be so fun”!! For context the park is next to a lake- so on windy days there is a constant air flow which is perfect for kite flying!! This thing, SOARED. Just absolutely amazing, we had so much fun watching it/flying this kite it stayed up in the air like a freaking champ, and I’m talking we had this thing fully extended I don’t even know how much string was on the handle but it was all of it— it flew SO well that when my step son accidentally let go of the handle it. Took. Off 😂 but!! Here’s the kicker- the line got stuck in a tree and we had it out so far that it was the trees turn to fly the kite apparently. Listen to me when I tell you- that thing is still freaking flying. I’m not joking that kite stayed in the air from when we lost it around 5:30 to when I drove down the street to check on it at 8:30. The only reason I’m talking past tense is because I can only assume it has to come down eventually right?? At this point it’s just the neighborhood kite, it’s our beacon. But my point is- this kite is basically a professional kite. Just absolutely amazing obviously. Easy to assemble and literally built to last. We could literally see it from our house just proudly doing its thing. You’ll never need another kite. Just get it. I wish Amazon let me upload the video but the pictures are the progression.

Brilliant kite, worked very well at the beach, gets great height, easy to build and to unbuild. Good for adults and kids Sturdy and flys really well!

Bought for my grandsons to take on holiday. I have had good feed back about it and they have had a lot of fun flying the kite.

good quality kite, no issues. Very simple to fly, you will be hard pressed to crash it providing sufficient wind, its very stable. Beginner level boring but that's good with introducing kids.
