Way more rocks than I was expecting! Got these to stuff an advent calendar for my kids, and I was able to do about a dozen of each kind (except hematite) spread throughout the month AND have a ton leftover to give to a friend's kiddo! Only downside was 4 pieces of hematite in the entire box, but the rest had quite a few (see picture spread out on the included poster). Book is great; my kids loved reading about each kind, and liked the blank, lined page at the end to make scientific notes. There were no broken pieces or dust in the box, just a bunch of pretty gemstones! Highly recommend!

I loved this mystery of stones inside. What is in the booklet is mostly in the box, its random for sure, a lot of nice mixed shaped stones inside. I did see some duplicates of the same size and shape, kind of made me wonder a bit but for the most part I loved this box. Can't wait to get the bigger stones next.

Nice box of stones. Fun to watch the grandkids pick through them and look them up in the pamplet.

I love these polished rocks! They are all super smooth and shiny. A couple thinner ones are broken but there are so many of each type that it's no big deal. The paperwork included identifying them is super helpful. I've put a couple in my daughter's Christmas advent calendar daily and she looks forward to it every single morning. She is hoarding her gems in a large coin purse and shows them to anyone who will look. I'm sure we'll put the extra to good use.

I split this up between a couple of stockings at Christmas. It was a huge hit.
