I rotate my 23" monitor in and out of portrait/landscape mode at least once a day, and abuse the heck out of the arm itself by constantly pulling it in and out of position. I basically only pull out the arm if I need the second monitor, put it back away to clear the space and talk to someone at my desk, pull it back when I go back to work, then rotate it to landscape at night when I want to relax, playing a video game. It gets put back to portrait when I put it away entirely for the night. Once or twice a year I check and tighten anything that's gotten loose. Seriously a nice mount, keeping in mind that mine is anchored to a solid-wood pine hutch on my desk, rather than sunk into drywall. (And, yes, I realize this question is old, but maybe it'll help someone.) **Q: I don't have a 4mm drill bit, nor does any of my friends.
