It works great. But it’s twice the price of the older version still on sale everywhere (the previous version was not discontinued, they just created this new one to get double price and double profit. It’s not that it’s expensive for a compact, but it’s expensive for the cheap compacts (meaning, that are not high end brands like Lancome, YSL, CD, etc.). Just like everything else we buy nowadays, they made a new color (red details) plastic box of the exact same format and size as the previous just to charge you twice as much. Good light coverage for a drugstore or grocery shopping quick run when you don’t want to put full makeup on. It’s skin compatible if you manage to choose the right color for yourself, but it’s the same quantity as the previous cheaper product. Not too lightweight but definitely not “heavy weight” as a CC cream is: CC’s are heavier for total coverage so it can cover blemishes in case you have a monthly hormone breakout as some of us do, so, no, this item here is way far from the results of a CC cream. After you get home if you want clean pores you’ll have to use the adequate makeup remover or astringent depending your type of skin or else there will be residue. If I’m to make a recommendation, just buy the previous product from L’Oreal or even the Revlon one because they’re still in production and for sale with the exact same Quantity inside the container. I keep this type of product in all vehicles and purses so I don’t need to worry about not having a very light facial compact coverage to give it a better 5 second application color when I’m in a rush. But if I’m home I go for the “real deal” (Lancome, Mac, etc.). However, all the compacts I mentioned above don’t leave anything to desire and basically cover pretty much all of one’s needs covered by the same type of compact product by Lancome, CD, YSL, etc. options. Residue. In short: if your skin CAN take a dry compact because skin is not too dry or wrinkled by sun or age, you can even wear it on top of the CC cream so as to cover oiliness (in case your skin is oily prone). Caution for dry skin people: if your skin is dry or wrinkled by sun or age, you might not want to add more dryness (which most compacts do - but then, again, that’s what I seek in compact powders: to cover the oiliness). I really like this powder foundation. I'm in my 70s and it goes on nicely, evening out my color and looks nice and smooth. I apply with a cosmetic brush over a little tinted moisturizer that has sunscreen. It stays nice all day.

This L’Oreal Paris pressed powder is great! I have repurchased this probably 5 times. I goes on easy! Has the perfect amount of coverage I would say it’s more on the medium-heavy side. It’s a great price point compared to other expensive powders that do the same thing this one does. The texture is powder but goes on very smooth. Like all powder doing your proper skin care prep before hand will make all the difference of how your makeup and powder will look. I will continue to purchased and recommend to anyone looking for a flawless coverage look that will last through the day!

CONS: > They arrived cracked, or crack shortly after a couple of uses because they are VERY POORLY wrapped for shipment. I've reported this more than once, but nothing changes. They are less expensive to buy here, but they are also more likely to crack or break. > Difficult to get a proper color match. > There is no translucent shade because this is a powder + foundation all in one. > Some colors are nearly identical. > I have 6 onhand right now. Most of them I'll never use because the colors are off. There's no rhyme or reason for their color choices. The names they give the colors don't match what you would think they would be. This is a huge turnoff for me. I would purchase many more if I knew what to actually buy.

I bought it because I ran out of the product I normally used and also because they raised the price a lot. I wanted to try this brand because it was recommended to me and it is much cheaper than the one, I am using. I tried both at the same time, one on one side of my face and the other on the other, and the truth is that I didn't see any difference. It has good coverage, the durability is good, I only touched it up once, the color match perfect. I recommended it is 10 of 10.

I love the natural-looking coverage that I get when applying with a kabuki brush. Using the sponge it comes with also works well, but it goes on too thick for my preference. I'd give this more stars, but the makeup breaks into pieces too easily and becomes messy. For this reason, I can't carry it in my purse, which is pretty silly. The point of buying a compact is to carry it with you. I've now bought this several times, and each time it breaks up. One time, it was already broken when I received it.

This goes on light, but has decent coverage. A second coat would provide even better coverage but remain light weight. I apply it with a brush and it glides right on, stays matte. I have medium beige skin with pink undertones, it is a tad bit light on my skin but not bad. I'm pleased with it.

I ordered this in colour mocha to use as a contour/bronzer and am so happy i did. This powder foundation is a very quality product for a very fair price. This powder foundation wears longer than my too faced bronzer and that one is far more pricey. I have combo skin (oily t zone) and so i use the laura mercier powder foundation as my base and this product as a contour. Highly recommend..this colour mocha is a very flattering brown without any orange or copper or muddy tone. Suitable for many tones and it is very buildable. You can sweep just a lil and it looks nice or more than usual and melt it and blend it into your skin with your clean hands for a very natural finish. Pliable formula for a lack of better terms. I believe the test of makeup is answering yes to these 2 questions: 1. Does it look good 3 hrs + later? 2. Can i conveniently and quickly touch up my makeup throught the day? I find with enough moisturizer and or primers, powder foundations last alot longer and look alot better through out the day. They are way easier to touch up as well.

Great product!

This looks better as you go about your day and it's very durable. It truly is waterproof, standing up to sweat and tears. It's good for stabilizing sunscreen. I took away 2 stars because you only get 9 grams of product and the packaging is so tacky I feel embarrassed pulling it out of my purse to use the mirror.

It really does have great coverage however you can definitely put too much on as a result . I usually start my day with a liquid foundation and even though I work at a desk I end up a lil bit shiny and go over with this and it’s great
