Perfect Home for My Jumping Spider
I recently purchased the Zilla Micro Habitat Terrarium Enclosure for my jumping spider, and it has been an absolutely fantastic choice. My spider loves it, and I’m equally impressed with its quality and functionality. Design and Size: The terrarium is perfectly sized for my jumping spider, providing ample space to explore while still feeling secure. The design is sleek and practical, with clear walls that allow for easy viewing from all angles. This makes it a wonderful display piece for my little companion. Ease of Cleaning: One of the standout features of this enclosure is how easy it is to clean. The terrarium comes apart effortlessly, allowing me to reach every corner without any hassle. Maintaining a clean environment for my spider is crucial, and this terrarium makes that task incredibly simple and efficient. Ventilation: The ventilation is excellent, ensuring that there is always fresh air circulating inside the enclosure. This is essential for the health and well-being of my spider, and it gives me peace of mind knowing that the habitat is well-ventilated. Durability: The materials used in this terrarium are high-quality and durable. It feels sturdy and well-constructed, which is important for providing a safe and secure home for my pet. I have no concerns about its longevity or ability to withstand regular cleaning and handling. Accessibility: The access doors are well-designed, making it easy to feed and interact with my spider. This feature adds to the overall convenience of the enclosure, making daily care routines smooth and straightforward. Value for Money: Considering the thoughtful design, ease of maintenance, and quality construction, the Zilla Micro Habitat Terrarium Enclosure offers excellent value for money. It’s a worthwhile investment for any jumping spider owner or anyone looking to house small pets. Overall Experience: Overall, I couldn’t be happier with this terrarium. It’s provided a perfect home for my jumping spider, who has thrived since moving in. The ease of cleaning and excellent design have made my life easier, and I highly recommend this enclosure to anyone looking for a high-quality, functional, and aesthetically pleasing habitat for their small pets.

Nice habitat for our jumping spiders.
Cost effective! Clear! Functional as they are easy to assemble, disassemble and clean. Easy to open and close with a lock. Stackable! (I just realized that’s what the cutout on the front bottom is for!) Sturdy which is necessary since these get moved around multiple times a day. No scratches yet despite many people handling and moving. Only issue thus far is that one is the rubber bands used to secure the sides (etc) broke immediately when we used it. This wasn’t a problem because there were a few extra in the package, and you really don’t need to secure all 13 places. Habitat will stay together fine with a few missing. You can also just use a regular rubber band or hair tie in its place.

Awesome
They're perfect for my jumping spiders. I have 2 spiders & got one for each. No baby spiders though as they could escape through. I have used these for a few years with other animals. So easy to put together.

Perfect as a temporary enclosure!
Great little enclosure for a reasonable price! I use mine for my jumping spiders but be aware that smaller invertebrates/animals can escape through the lock hole if left open. Assembly was straightforward, just be sure to get the film off of *both* sides of the plastic. It comes with everything you need and simple instructions, I would trust that any child that can follow a lego set instruction book could figure it out. My main gripes with the enclosure are that the side vents are fiddly and even larger hydei fruit flies can pass through them which makes feeding with them obnoxious since they just squeak right out (I have put screening over mine to avoid this) and the lock hole as well as the side "hinge" holes at the front of the enclosure are also large enough for prey items or small animals to sneak through (I taped mine up to avoid this). Also, the lock itself is very fussy, I personally dislike it even if the design is a great concept for stacking multiple enclosures. Mine came with one of the two pins on the lock shorter than the other so it never fit right and fell off constantly so I superglued it in place upright and taped up the lock hole because I was simply sick of it. My last gripe is that if you spray the sides of the enclosure the water can slide through between the wall and the bottom and end up leaving a mess outside of the enclosure but that's a relatively small issue. All in all, it's a good enough enclosure for a temporary setup or for young hobbyists but it needs so many modifications to make it viable as a long term solution that I recommend you purchase something else if that's your ultimate goal.

Nice home for Jumping Spider
I really like this Zilla Mirco Habitat. Still don't even know how I have a baby jumping Spider??? I Hate ALL SPIDERS and I am terrified of them!! I somehow grew to want one after watching tons of videos on them after finding one in my car and killing it. My husband thinks they are sooooo cute. My little 1 and 6 yr old watch Lucas the Spider and even that dam cartoon spider freaks me out. Anyways...... I now have my very own tiny baby jumping spider. I even went to Petsmart and bought it Fruit flies. I had it in a small glass bowl at first and then I heard about this little enclosure on YouTube and I had to get it for my little baby spider. I don't know if the spider is a girl or boy. I think it likes it's home though. It was Crawling all around at the top and finally made a cozy little web between the yellow flower. Hasnt came out yet and has only ate once. I think this enclosure is really nice and I enjoy that it's clear so you can see your spider or whatever you choose to put in it. When you first get it there's a film on all of the pieces and you can't really tell that it can be peeled off, but YES it does come off. I really like the simple lock ontop as well. I didn't know how to open it at first until my husband showed me how. The bottom piece of the enclosure looks like a little pull out drawer but it's not. Even looks like it's open in pictures but it's not. Everything is held together by thick little bands. Might not sound sturdy but it is. The plastic is nice too in my opinion. I'm very happy with my purchase and for $20 I think it's worth it. Once again I love it! I hope my baby jumping spider does too.

Too many gaps in door
Bought two of these a couple of months ago, I set them up and started looking for jumping spiders to put in them. Picked up a spider today, had it in there for about 30 mins, came to check on it and the jumping spider was sitting on top of the enclosure. These are not made for small spiders. There are too many gaps on the door and if you don’t put the lock pin in the top, it’s another escape route. Now I have two enclosures I cannot use.

I promise it’s not opaque
I keep seeing reviews of these where people are upset because they’re not see through and they don’t think it’s a film. you don’t really think zilla manufactured all of these plastic panes, looked at all the opaque ones, set them aside, did zero quality control, and threw all of the defect pieces this enclosure requires into boxes together as a funny little prank to you? they have a film on them. scratch it with your finger. scratch the edges until it lifts. there is no pull tab. you’ll be able to see your animal when the film is off. be aware that it’s made of plastic, and animals that need too much heat and humidity living in them will cause the plastic to warp. these are marketed as invert enclosures and **temporary** reptile enclosures because they do not provide the space for heating or lighting fixtures for reptiles and amphibians and no reptile is suitable for this enclosure. no, not even ball pythons, they benefit from large enclosures and enrichment. the enclosure is good for tarantulas. I bought them for tarantulas. they’re good for this intended purpose. if you have a tarantula get these. they’re probably good for millipedes. I’d be stoked if zilla made an even larger one because larger aquariums with mesh lids can hurt tarantulas (mesh can break fangs off). the lid sometimes makes a kind of crunchy sound when it’s opened because it’s plastic but that may also be user error because I might be putting too much pressure on those tiny hinges. it’s secure with barely any gaps in the sides and lid but be aware that if you have a small animal that likes to squeeze itself into small spaces it will be doing that to this enclosure because those tiny gaps are available. overall very good for its price as long as you don’t overestimate it, you don’t put a lizard or a tiny little jumping spider in it, and you don’t make the humidity 99% at all times

No silicon bands?
Would be an awesome enclosure if the silicon bands that are required to assemble it were in the package! Looked all through everything and couldn’t find them. Disappointed! If they are sold separately that should be specified.
