Way over priced for all the hype so I am giving it three star! Cut the price in half and it would get four or maybe 5. I mean sure it sharpens the skis but I think you can get the same results for half the cost. It really does not feel all that solid either at least I wouldn't want to accidentally drop it ....

Gets the base bevel perfect. I ruined a pair of skis with a cheap one, if you value your skis, spend the money on this.

This tool is much better than the small hand-held tools for sharpening the edge. Using a file with this tool does not remove as much metal as I have experienced with the small tools.
