Worth the investment. Easy to assemble. Lightweight but sturdy. Rolls easily on hardwood and tile but not carpet. Wheel locks work well but are not the easiest to lock and unlock w foot. Use my hands instead.

This item is worth every penny and because it is a multi use item it actually saves you money in the long run. I’ve been taking care of my elderly father for a few years now and through his decline we’ve needed to make changes and add geriatric items to help assist him. I really wish I knew about the shower buddy chair years ago. I would have saved so much money. My father is now almost 94 and can’t even walk a few feet with his walker to get to his bathroom so with this new chair I can lift him out of bed and wheel him right to the toilet then straight to the shower. No more need for the handicap chair rail around the toilet (which is terrible with company because I have to hide everything) and I was able to get rid of the raised toilet seat and the shower chair. This is a game changer for all of us in the house actually and because it’s only one item, it takes up less space! Also makes life so much easier for the caregiver we have during the day because it’s become a safety hazard for one person to lift him and walk with him to the bathroom. He was needing two people now but with this shower buddy we can wheel him everywhere; even acts as a transfer chair so we don’t need the wheelchair anymore either. He’s in hospice care at home and doesn’t need to leave the house so we gave up the wheelchair. This item is very easy to put together; actually is mostly put together already. It’s also very light weight. My favourite part is the rubber caster wheels w/ locks. I’ve seen many chairs with a lot of metal or aluminum which is terrible for the shower because it corrodes too quickly. All the materials are very well made. Thank you to the company and for the quality of this item. It’s going to last a long time. Wish I had this 3 years ago. You know you’re middle aged when you get excited about your parents new geriatric chair lol!

Chair meets or exceeds the daily rigors of cleaning, showering, drying and dressing to assist in helping my parent. Locking/unlocking wheels with a toe tap, rolls smoothly and easily, turns 360 degrees in the walk-in shower! Light weight, 20lbs, very sturdy, does not flex or wobble with parent in chair when moving! Throw a towel over the chair, move out of shower and complete drying, with minimal puddling! The draw backs, seat is tall, using the adjustable feet will solve if rider will comply! The seat position is very straight up/down and this position compresses the bottom into the removable cutout in the seat, cushion is about 3 inches and soft which allows bottom to slide too far into the opening which will cause discomfort when not centered. The solution would be to put a firm ring on top of the cushioning and then the waterproof cover stabilizing the area?! The locking wheels and the sturdiness outweigh the height and possible seated discomfort! Delivery was on the earliest date of the delivery window, about 5 days from ordering! Delighted with the chair makes the whole cleanup cleanup dressing much much EASIER!

This really is one of the best purchases that I’ve ever made on Amazon. My independent 96 yr old father got pneumonia, was hospitalized and came home from rehab no longer able to ambulate. We use this chair as a bedside commode in case I need to run out. But more importantly we use it as a bathroom commode as I can wheel dad over the existing bathroom toilet and then wheel him back out when he is finished. It is also being used as his in-house wheelchair as I can wheel him from room to room and he can even sit at the table now and eat breakfast. It is also a shower chair. This chair is so sturdy, moves easily and turns on a dime. I can even turn dad around in the bathroom. This chair has been a life saver for the both of us and has helped me to manage my father at home.

As I took it out of the box, I wondered if there was some kind of mistake — this is so unlike the flimsy, generic stuff that we've bought in the past. It is light, but fantastically solid and well built. Great wheels and locks. Well designed, too. This is the transport chair Apple would have designed. (I've worked for Apple, so I know.) It works for my wife perfectly. It's the best transport chair, shower chair, and commode, hands down. It's compact yet roomy. It's strength makes it able to be open underneath, great for spraying from below. The 'bucket' underneath can be taken out and put back while she's on the chair. It reduces the number of transfers and is more comfortable than the chairs it replaces. It's the best mobility purchase we've ever made. It's not perfect, but the problems don't detract from its use at all. The footrest edges are not rounded, they can feel sharp on the soles of the feet.

I purchased this shower chair in October 2023 for my mother who is completely disabled, has dementia and is on hospice care. I Spent hours looking for shower chairs and their reviews on Amazon and finally settled on this one and I am so glad I did. It was easy to put together. It was very easy for my caregivers and I to use to give my mom her showers. After having it about 9 months, we had a little issue with the wheels not moving properly so I reached out to customer service and they were so kind to send me replacement wheels at no charge and even though when I called, it was a Friday afternoon, they made sure that my package would be in the mail that day. I really appreciate the kindness they showed me in trying to get the replacement wheels to me as fast as they could. I will definitely purchase more of their products in the future if for no other reason than the kindness that they shown.
