Great Battery, Great Price, Much Needed Accessory
The battery arrived quickly as usual for an Amazon transaction. It was a perfect fit for my GoPro. It has multiple indicator lights to show the level of charge, I really like that feature. It charged quickly off my laptop which was important for me because I use my GoPro on a race car and there is rarely an available outlet to plug in a charger. I like the fact that with the extended recording time, I did not need to recharge at all at the race track, the battery lasted all day. We used it 30 minutes on the track, then 30 minutes off while the car was being refueled and prepped, then back out on the track. We repeated that scenario 3 times in the morning then 3 times after lunch. Other guys at the track had other brands of extended batteries and half of them had dead batteries each day by mid afternoon. My Wasabi lasted all day each day. There is a separate power button on the battery, so you have the option of using the GoPro battery first, then turning on the Wasabi battery. I don't know it that gives longer battery performance or not, I just turned on the GoPro and the Wasabi at the same time and recorded. My only gripe is not with Wasabi, but with GoPro. Their documentation is pathetic. They presume that the consumer knows too much about their product and they leave out important basic information. I noticed on GoPro's website that many people had the same questions about basic information that should have been in the user's guide but was left out. I had a glitch where the camera would not turn OFF when the Wasabi was attached, so I simply removed the battery then powered down the GoPro. That is a GoPro issue, not the battery. I also found some of the menu's on the GoPro were difficult to navigate. 4 other guys with GoPro cameras tried helping me and they also had trouble navigating the menus on my camera as well, so it was not my lack of comprehension; it was poor documentation from GoPro. One piece of advice, when recharging the battery, slow charging via a USB on a laptop is generally better than a quick charger plugged into an outlet or car. Quick chargers can overheat a battery and damage it quickly.

A Life Saver
I bought this because the battery on my GoPro Hero+ lasts only about two hours. Unfortunately the GoPro Hero+ doesn't have removable batteries like the newer GoPros (I think) so I was forced to use it sparingly, which is inconvenient because I like to have it for fishing and you can't really predict if you're going to get a bite every cast. Fortunately, however, this Wasabi battery exists and it is an absolute lifesaver! It easily adds another 2 to three hours of battery life to my GoPro so I can let it film most of the time I'm fishing, hiking, camping, etc. It definitely makes the GoPro a little heavier but that does not really bother me since I either have it on a selfie-stick, clipped to my backpack strap, or on the chest strap mount I use for fishing. The bulk of the battery prevents the GoPro from tilting all the way up, but I found that the slight downward angle from my chest mount didn't actually interfere with the video and I could still see myself making casts, landing fish, getting snagged in trees and etc. I don't wear a headband mount or a hat clip mount so I can't speak to how comfortable that is but I would imagine the extra weight would feel a little awkward at first. As mentioned earlier, I also like to hike and backpack, so I will likely by another one of these in the future to have for backpacking so I can film for the two or three days we are on the trail. If you're like me though and you're tired of having your battery die on you, I would highly recommend picking one of these up!

Definitely the extended battery for your GoPro Hero+
Was seeking for something that would last longer on my gopro hero +, was a little scared to pay this high for a battery that may function properly. Definitely order the item, upon arrival i took it out and definitely began to scan the item to ensure this product would work. click on the button and the signal battery will show if its full or low, the greatest part that its latch comes as sealed perfect for water sport, the seal provides perfect protection from the gopro and its extended battery. The accessibility to charge your gopro on the go is the best way and help you extend those recording times. My go pro would go nonstop recording for 2 hrs and having a 64gb micro sd is not enough to record the adventure. Definitely this battery extended my recording time to 2.5 times what it was worth,if you keep an eye on it you may even extend this usage time. I definitely use this product on my Sea doo Spark and go out on long adventures, definitely a spare fuel tank and spare battery makes this product the right use for daily usage.

Good battery Booster
I have an old Go Pro Hero+LCD and the battery tends to go dead just when I am ready to take a video. This has helped me.

This is perfect for camping/backpacking!
This product came with my GoPro Hero+ and I have to say that I absolutely love it. The last time I went backpacking I accidently left my GoPro on and the battery died on the first day but the extended battery allowed me to keep filming over the next to days! It really saved the trip since the trail was planned around amazing vistas that we wanted to film. The GoPro Hero+ battery is pretty good but if you are going to be doing a lot of filming away from an outlet like a backpacking trip then this is a must have product, you don't want to miss out on capturing those amazing experiences just because the standard battery died. This product was very easy to use too, it charges just like the GoPro and then when your ready to use the extended battery you just plug it in to the back of the GoPro, it even comes with an extra waterproof back that is big enough to house the extended battery.
