OEMTOOLS 87009 No-Spill Coolant Filling Plastic Funnel Kit REPLACEMENT PIECES

I had to replace the Radiator in my 2014 Chrysler Town and Country and I needed this tool to refill the coolant. The quality is durable. It had different components to fit my radiator cap. It was easy to use, the functionality was excellent. It was also easy to clean after use. The clear color helped in seeing all the coolant being poured.

This tool turned an annoying process into a 45-50 minute job (time will vary depending on how fast your vehicle reaches operating temp). No spills, no issues, simple procedure. FYI: If you have a newer Mazda, none of the included adapters will fit quite right. But you can just install the funnel directly into the radiator and it’ll be an airtight, perfect fit.

Easy to use, works well and makes the entire drain-and-fill process seamless, allowing the elimination of air in the system. Find a good video on YouTube explaining how to do it for your vehicle (there are many dozens out there). The process for my 2013 Toyota Sienna has some special tricks and tips, but the Car Care Nut channel has all the information that you need. This kit contains the proper size fitting for my engine, and it all went together with just a minor bend in the tab on the metal cap. Overall a good money-saving investment, even if you only use it once.

Nice and clear to watch the bubbles. It has everything you need. It did the job well on my 2018 Honda Accord and should work for almost any car. It really is no-spill, and didn’t even drip when I removed it. Con: The radiator cap metal tabs are a little too tight (they are bent inward too much so the cap won’t easily go on), but I was able to force the cap to slide on and off by hand. I used the “small cap” that matches my OEM cap, but I checked the medium cap to verify and it has the same issue. The large is way too big. So the “hard to put on” fit is a manufacturing issue.

It’s good helped me on my coolant flush

This worked GREAT for us! I have a 2016 Hyundai Tucson that went through 3 radiators this summer and has been experiencing significant coolant issues for the past 3-4 years. The kit allowed us to do a total flush and and reset the coolant levels appropriately ourselves. We didn't have to worry about spillage, and the clear material allowed us to see exactly how quickly the coolant was being absorbed into the system. Material was very good, and kit came exactly as pictured.

Save money on coolant flush. This works great just make sure you use the proper attachment, and put the yellow locking piece OVER the adapter. Watch a youtube video on how to use it and you will be golden. Spilled a little bit but not too much. Make sure you have extra coolant.

OEMTOOLS No-Spill Coolant Funnel Kit worked great. I flushed and changed the coolant in 2 vehicles and the funnel kit made the job very easy. Place the front end of the car on jack stands or car ramps to aid in burping the coolant system of trapped air. The funnel kit is made very well and provides several adapters to fit most vehicles. Remember to start your coolant change with a cold engine only. Terrific product.

Habe das Trichterset bisher zwei Mal angewendet. Bei einem BMW 316i E46 Bj. 2004 und bei einem Honda Civic VIII Bj. 2007. Ich habe bei beiden Fahrzeugen den Kühlerfrostschutz gewechselt und den Trichter zum Befüllen und Entlüften verwendet. Ich bin bisher sehr zufrieden mit dem Trichterset und kann es jedem der an Fahrzeugen arbeitet empfehlen. Man muss nur sehr vorsichtig sein, wenn man überschüssiges Kühlmittel wieder zurück in einen Behälter geben möchte. Einerseits sollte man den langen Stöpsel/Stift nicht fest einstöpseln. Nur ganz leicht einsetzen. Sonst wird es schwierig beim wieder Herausziehen und es kann dabei einiges an Kühlmittel danebengehen. Andererseits muss man gut aufpassen, dass man sich nicht verbrüht, weil das Kühlwasser beim Entlüften sehr heiss wird. Beim Umfüllen des überschüssigen Kühlmittels, kann es nach dem Herausziehen des Stöpsels und durch unachtsames Vorgehen zu Spritzern kommen. Während dem Befüllen und Entlüften sollte man auch aufpassen das kein Schmutz oder Sonstiges in den Trichter gelangt. Hierzu kann man den mitgelieferten Deckel ob leicht ansetzen oder vielleicht ein Tuch darüberlegen. Trotzdem bin ich sehr zufrieden und würde es wieder kaufen.

Perfect kit. All the adapters worked for my applications, and works excellent to burp the cooling system especially for cars with expansion tanks such as Subaru WRX STI and Hyundai sonata. Makes the job so much simpler and efficient.
