I don't know how to play traditional Mahjong, I bought this set specifically for Mahjong Solitaire. It's a wonderful, meditative way to unplug from screens. There’s something incredibly satisfying about the 'clack' of the tiles and the focus required to clear a physical pyramid layout.

As a beginner I took my time looking for good quality set. I’m glad I did. Ordered and delivered with no problems at all. The set is extremely good. Size and clarity are excellent. Handbook is very helpful, checked all the pieces nothing missing or damaged. Would highly recommend.

Arrived on time. We (including kids) all had fun playing this. A bit smaller for adult however didnt affect the fun we had.

The set itself is very nice. The tiles are a good medium size - not full size, but good for playing at home and not too bulky to take to play elsewhere. The tiles feel nice and smooth, with a pleasing weight. The only downside for me is the case that the set comes in. It looks nice, but even with no damage it is very easy for the sides to open enough to allow tiles to fall out, if not carefully handled. Even easier for the instruction booklet to fall out. If you don't want to replace the case, make sure the instructions are kept under the tiles!
