The KAOSS DJ is a USB and standalone DJ controller that features a built-in KAOSS PAD, KORG's famous and inimitable touch pad effects unit. **Q: can i plug a guitar in?**
A: The inputs are RCA, so I believe you can't.

**Q: Does this work without an app**
A: Yes. It can function in full analog mixer mode with effects and EQ.

**Q: is it compatable with VDJ pro?**
A: Yes but not all functions are available. I hse it because serato and traktor dont seem to work with mine. VDJ will not alliw you to erase hot cues, also you wont hace the chance to select the deck for the Kaoss Pad effect. Small details but it works perfectly

**Q: what software is recommended for this**
A: Hi, Serato DJ Into is available as free download, you can get that here: https://serato.com/dj/intro, this works great with this controller and entry level software. Facile d'utilisation.  Je le combine avec mon macbook pro et des baffles actifs. Top. Le pad est intéressant mais contient à la limite trop de variantes que pour s'y retrouver. En final on utilise que quelques unes des fonctionnalités.

In der Preisklasse einen kleinen und so funktionablen Controller zu finden, ist schwierig. Ein für einfache Bedürfnisse (Musik nacheinander abspielen und ein paar Effekte/Loops) nutzen) vollwertiger und sehr sehr cool aussehender Controller, der in den Rucksack passt neben den Laptop.Alles ist kompakter, das ist klar, aber gut bedienbar. Die Touch-Jog-Dials funktionieren prima zur Navigation, die zweite Bedien-Ebene (FN-Taste) ist zumutbar und schnell gelernt.Unter Virtual DJ läuft alles bis auf die Effektzuweisung auf die Decks - ich habe das noch nicht auf Machbarkeit (Community, Forum) geprüft. Die LED lassen sich in Virtual DJ gut anpassen.Die integrierte Soundkarte schwächelt evtl. bei Ausgangspegel für den Kopfhörer - in sehr lauten Umgebungen klirrt es höchster Lautstärke trotz leistungsstarker Kopfhörer.Was - der Größe geschuldet - fehlt, sind weitere Hotcue-Buttons, aber es gibt ja noch eine Maus.Kaufempfehlung.
