Actually fits a 3/4 guitar!
Great case for my son’s 3/4 accoustic guitar! I had to get through a few other cases and return them before I found this case. This is a case that really fits a 3/4 size guitar unlike most of the other affordable cases that are described as being suitable for a 3/4 guitar but in reality are for full sized guitars. So the smaller guitar floats around in fhe full size cases. Not so with this Yamaha case. I also like that there are backpack straps which makes is easier for my 6 year old to carry his guitar around. But there is also a handy strap above the backpack straps just like a backpack has. So you can quick grab it before you hoist it on your shoulders. There’s one more set of straps along the narrow side of the guitar in case you want to hold the guitar in one hand instead of wearing it on your back. Not something you think would really matter but I like that the case makers thought of these little details. It would make the guitar easier to travel with. And because it’s the correct size, my son isn’t dwarfed by a giant case when he’s carrying his guitar around to class and back. Another bonus about this case is that it has very nice padding. I wouldn’t check it in with my airplane luggage but I feel like if I put it in the trunk of my car and drove around I wouldn’t worry about it getting jostled or bumped. And it has protected the guitar from my kids “oops, I didn’t realize that wall was there” bang and bumps. There is a nice zippered compartment on the front that easily fits my son’s music folder and other accessories like a capo, pics and metronome. I think it would be a nice touch to have one or two more smaller pockets in this compartment to stash the pics and maybe pencils but for now this is great. I checked out another case that was a little more expensive and similarly padded. I didn’t like the other one because there were too many compartments that added bulk and weight to the case. I think this is a perfect design and sleek which makes it easier for a child to carry. To review: I love that it actually fits a 3/4 size guitar. It’s got sturdy padding to protect it from a child that might bang it accidentally. There is a useful and well sized compartment for a music notebook. And the price was great.

Best Guitar Case I've ever had has been Yamaha. **update HOW I REPAIRED THE GUITAR CASE
This is an incredibly nice case. The guitar fits quite snug. No jiggling around at all. I wanted something made of real wood. This is plywood. Very strong. Just a bit more than the others but well worth it. A classic guitar case that will protect the investment for a long time. If your instrument is twice or more the cost of the case. Buy one. Mine is easily $1600 and I didn't want to risk going for one of the other brands that would have been less expensive. The case did arrive damaged. But I'm working with Seller to see what can be done. Even scuffed up and a missing hinge. I'm keeping it. It traveled all the way around the world being moved from factory to a truck to a ship and then another truck and then stored and moved around since 2023. I understand things can happen. **Update: The seller agreed for a partial refund. I've included photos of the damage and then updated review to show some of the photos of my repairs. For everything I used just plain wood glue. Toothpicks and wood glue to fill the rivet holes. Cut to length screws after installing them and removing them to cut. Tape to hold the ripped cover to hold it tight till the wood glue set. Hot glue to repair the felt that I peeled back to cut the toothpick ends with a razor knife.

First-tier guitar case for Yamaha dreadnoughts
I'm a beginner, and ever since purchasing my FG-800 I have been tired of rolling up my guitar in an old blanket, with occasional heart drops when accidentally bumping it against things. The AG1-HC case gives me the peace of mind I have been wanting for that instrument. Make no mistake about it, this case is exactly that: a guitar case. It does not pretend or attempt to be anything else. Sturdily built with tight lockup and a solid feel in either position (open or closed). Standard black and polished/plated brass 3+1 clasp hardware with a distinct lack of branding, a feature that may or may not be advantageous to your particular needs. The interior is lined with black interior plush, as opposed to the red/purple 70s-esque variety of other cases, with a large accessory pocket capable of stocking many packs of strings along with pegwinders, piezo pickups, picks, capos and anything else you could possibly need to carry along with your instrument. The lock is the standard style for guitar cases - a simple skeleton-key lock more intended to ensure one clasp stays locked rather than genuine security of the case's contents. This configuration seems adequate for a bumpy ride in a tour bus or an unstable packing configuration, but not enough to survive airline baggage handlers well-trained in the art of luggage destruction. Guitar fitment (at least for the FG-800) is tight, enough so that I was worried that I may need to remove and stow my strap before closing the lid. This doesn't appear to be the case, as the body of the guitar has a certain degree of "float" to it. Overall, once the case is closed and locked-up there is no motion or play from the guitar within. Overall, I would recommend this case for anyone who is looking to protect their instrument and who prefers first-party solutions. The AG1-HC is a sturdy case with a quality build that fits the bill for protecting instruments worth much more than it.

Durable, Protective, and Comfortable Guitar Case!
The Yamaha Guitar Case is excellent! The design is sleek and functional, with a well-padded interior that keeps my guitar safe and secure. The exterior is sturdy and durable, perfect for travel. The zipper quality is top-notch—smooth and reliable. I was also pleasantly surprised that the case didn’t have any strong chemical smell, which is often a concern with new cases. The handle and straps are comfortable for carrying, and there’s plenty of space for accessories. Overall, fantastic value for the quality—highly recommend for any guitarist!

Muy bonita y resistente, la cinta interna me preocupaba que dañara la guitarra, pero hasta ahora no ha sido así.
