Good quality
This is a good dog food for dogs with food allergies. Ours was allergic to chicken and it is hard to find a poultry free food. It is a good value as I shopped around. As a prime member it was much easier than getting from the store.

Keeping my dog well-nourished
What I thought was a routine respiratory infection turned out to be...well, a respiratory infection...but also cancer, but this food has kept my dog eating despite feeling crummy and his mouth hurting a bit. He's turned his nose up at kibble and anything else requiring much chewing (again, ouchy mouth), but gobbles this down. He's also having some trouble drinking with the tumor in his mouth, and the moisture content has kept him well-hydrated even while he can only get down a few extra ounces of water a day. The vet and veterinary oncologist and veterinary radiation oncologist (yeah...) are all really happy with his health outside of the cancer, and I credit a portion of that to keeping him eating a high-quality food. While I have gotten a few dented cans (just a few out of the 84 I've received from Amazon so far), my doorbell camera says that's likely a shipping issue. I get not wanting to make a ton of trips from the truck, but the drivers have dropped every box *hard,* often multiple times, between the truck and my door (only 16' from the street). I've never had one so dented the seal was compromised, and it's always been the outer cans in the "flat." I take them out of the wrapped box and store them in a cabinet, so I'd know immediately if one was leaking.

Absolutely Delicious
I liked this product because it was exactly what was advertised: A "taste of the wild." This is by far the best dog food I have ever purchased. In the past, I used Iams, Kibbles, and Purina-- sure, they are cheaper, but I assure you the price is justified. I've been using this product for about 6 months now, and I do not plan on going back. To get into specifics: The best way to identify good dog food, according to my doctor, was that meat is listed as the FIRST ingredient. If you look at the product information here, you see- Bison, venison broth, lamb broth, lamb liver, and egg. This tasty medley combines with the potato, peas, sweet potato, tomatoes, and salt to create a "shepherds pie" dining experience. The hearty can size of 13.2oz will leave the diner satisfied without feeling too full- a perfectly balanced culinary experience. My one (VERY MINOR) complaint is that the product causes bad breath. However, this does not impact their score (a perfect five from this satisfied customer) because I have yet to encounter dog food that doesn't. If you want a taste of the wild that's worth the price, this is the can for you.

Peaches loves taste of the wild
Just wished the bag zipped closed?Peaches loves" taste of the wild "(wetlands) she is allergic to a lot of ingredients we had her on" OC Raw" which she absolutely loved however raw food limits travel because you have to keep the food Frozen or refrigerated and you do need to be very careful with the bacteria, and the temperature raw dog food. Now, "Taste of the Wild" we were very fortunate to find this dog food with ingredients that are extremely Limited which is good because she is allergic to a lot of additives and Grains she likes the food we also use it for training incentives. Peaches is a year old she has Addison's disease so we have to be very careful with her diet, and medications.

Dog developed BAD gas
I wanted to feed my 60 lb. Australian Shepherd/Catahoula Leopard mix the best food I could afford. Based on the good reviews for this item, I bought the wet dog food on January 4th, 2016 and with my Prime at the time it arrived 2 business days later. My dog adapted to her new diet easily, but unfortunately, she is of a "gassy nature," and this food made her have the WORST and most frequent flatulence I have ever observed in a dog! Poor girl- to get to my apartment at the time we had to go up stairs, and the flatulence was so bad that she would fart going up the stairs, turning to bite/scratch her back, and basically anything else she did. Sometimes we would be sitting together staring at the TV and she would let one go. She has no shame. Also, I want to note that I paired this wet dog food with the "taste of the wild wetlands, wildfowl" dry dog food. I would only pair the wet food with the dry dog food in the evening (she is fed twice a day). One can would last me for days. I saved the dog food, because I knew I could give it to someone else some other day. Enter: my boyfriend and his 40 lb. pit bull. We moved into our new place a couple weeks ago. His pit had been staying at his mother's house for the past 2 years, and he was being fed scraps. Horribly unhealthy scraps. He developed a bad case of flatulence and diarrhea from that, but since he's been here we immediately switched him over and not only did he adapt without any trouble, but he also started having solid, healthy poos. While this didn't work for my dog, it worked for my boyfriend's dog. They both had no trouble adapting to it, but because my dog is a gassy girl, this did not help curb that area at all and actually aggravated it. The packaging was fine, if anyone wants to know about that.

Received WETLANDS Formula As Shown in Photo
Amazon's photo and main heading both describe TOTW Wetlands (duck quail, turkey), but the written description further down the page is for a different TOTW canned food - High Prairie (bison, lamb, venison). Since the 1-star reviewer said they received the High Prairie bison/lamb/venison instead of the Wetlands duck/quail/turkey, I wasn't sure which 'flavor' Amazon would ship. They shipped Wetlands as shown in the photo and main heading at the top of the page. The Wetlands formula is crammed with nicely sized meaty chunks from bottom to top of can with a tiny amount of gravy coating the chunks. I mix 1/4 can of this with TOTW dry dog food and feed to my 5 month old puppy. She loves this food and scarfs down all 3 of her daily feedings. Highly recommend this quality dog food.
