DEWALT Oscillating Tool Blade, Triangular, Rigid Scraper (DWA4232)

Used it to remove 40+ year old worn out "hard as a rock" caulking from a Tutor style home with hundreds of linear feet of worn out old caulking. Took me 2 hours with the conventional way of razor knife/scraping/picking to do 10 linear feet. With this blade I can do 10 linear feet in about 4 minutes . It works so well! NO damage to any existing cedar trim boards, and I can even remove caulk from behind the boards. Absolutely incredible tool and the price point is amazing for how much time it saves! Longevity is excellent, even when used against brick. The metal is thick enough that you could sharpen this tool on your own for extended life. So far I've done Hundreds of linear feet with this 1 blade. It has saved my behind. I can't speak high enough of this tool. It's a lifesaver for redoing old caulking!.

I liked this blade due to the thicker material used in the construction. Others that I have had are much thinner and will tend to break with heavy use. Not this guy, it should stand up to the many hours of use on removing sealants from caulk joints and other sealants. Plus as it is thick, it can easily be sharpened so you get longer efficiency. A little pricey, but the quality makes it a very good value.

Works as advertised, but filled rather quickly

This is a solid blade! It thicck. Sturdy and rigid. Good for getting into tight nooks. Now if they would only make a hook-style blade for pull cutting thin materials ;-)

This tool alone makes an oscillating tool a "must buy." We get lots of shipping boxes and I'd cut them down to size to fit in the recycle bin. This is extremely hazardous with a knife, as you need a very sharp one and it easily slips. I saw a YouTube demo of this blade cutting through thick foam insulation like butter and wondered if it could tackle cardboard. Sure enough, it slices through heavy cardboard (like Costco shipping boxes) like warm butter. It's much more. easily controlled and it doesn't have a sharp edge to stab yourself. I'm also not banging my knuckes in the the boxes as I was with a kinfe.I was dreadding tearing down a big Costco box but I chooped it up in less than a minute with this blade. I wish I'd found this sooner. The blade is quite sharp, so please wear gloves.

I use this blade to scrape caulk and cut thick cardboard. Works great.

Just start by understanding that this is not a scraper to be used on a wood surface, at least not one that will be visible when the project is done. With that out of the way, this is the tool for removing tile or glued-on vinyls from hard surfaces. It makes quick work of an otherwise hours-long scraping job.

Came with another part. I havent found a use for this yet. Seems decent though.

Buy this one, do not buy the ones that can’t deliver next day. They will be junk from China. These Dewalt are bullet proof, worked like a charm. Remove caulking from 2 patio doors and blade is still like new.

A very useful accessory for the tool,stripping, etc. just be very careful when handling and using because it is unbelievably sharp.

This is a strong blade and fits my Dewalt tool perfect. I used it lightly and yes this unit is more than ready to do its job. I’m sure it will be fine for more challenging jobs. Good buy.

Se supone que es universal, pero NO le quedó a mi Black & Decker Matrix, las muescas están en el lugar correcto pero son muy delgadas y no entra en la oscilatoria. Del resto no puedo opinar porque estoy por regresarla nueva como me llegó.
