Northair Compact Mini Freezer with Glass Display Door - 1.1 Cu Ft with 2 Removable Shelves - Quiet Upright Freezer - 7 Temperature Settings - Black

I like the glass door, it does appear to be 3-layred panes of glass as mentioned. The door's seal is not super strong though, (haven't used it long enough to see if it seals in the cold, well, starts to frost up quick however). I can effortlessly open door with a finger, the magnets inside the seal gasket are very weak, just thought I'd mention, the door is made of plastic, an unexpected surprise to me was the manual, interior LED light switch, switch is on outside, top front of door, (not auto on/off). There is obviously no handle on the door, I knew that at purchase, but there is no hand groove on the top, sides or bottom of the door either. I suppose it's not really necessary since the door can be opened with a feather light touch, but you have to touch the gasket every time you open it, (from any angle), potentially causing unnecessary wear. The compressor is extremely quiet, hard to tell when it's on. The unit freezes quite quickly, ice starts to form after just over an hour when first turned on. The shelves shown are NOT the ones you receive, there are indeed 2 shelves included, but they're both just a flat, wire piece, there is no 2-tier shelf included as in the photos, (one 9" depth, flat shelf, the other reaches about 14" into the interior), shelves are extremely lightweight, plastic coated, are magnetic, so they are steel. Finally, & probably a big deal breaker, (if I'd noticed this before purchase I would've kept looking, they don't tell you though, they say it's easy to adjust & on the exterior), the temperature control knob is in the rear exterior of the unit, inside the compressors protruding, protective cage, there is a small cut-out so you don't have to remove the cage to adjust the temp... Wonder of Wonders... Will be a pain to adjust temp without having to move the entire unit, knob is not illuminated, so you have the extra pleasure of getting out your flashlight. I bough this for my office and never used , looks like the temperature control not work, I bough a thermometer and find out the control min is(1) -7 and max is (7) - 18, its complete useless for me , is good for someone who wanna get in the ice business

No Handle for opening the door. This has caused the seal to wear out quickly since when you grab to open, you touch the seal. The seal is ripped and not holding temp. No seal available for purchase on their website to replace. Emailed them to purchase a new seal because they don't have a customer service phone number. 48 business hours and still no response.

Works nice but didn’t relize there was no display light or light when u open the door

We want a small ice cream freezer to hold a few ice cream cups, bars, or cones for the staff to enjoy in the summer. The freezer is very quiet, you can't even hear it sitting next to you. I have it a few feet from me. The temperature of the freezer is about 4-5 degrees Celcius. Cold enough for soda, but not to keep ice cream in a solid frozen state. We have soggy ice cream bars, almost melting cones Disappointing because we really want it to work even just to keep a few ice creams frozen for summer.

So disappointed. I should have listened to the reviews. It didn't even last 2 months before it stopped working.

I ordered this product and when it arrived, I realized it was too small for amount of products I wanted to store in it. Within 10 days, I contacted the seller to request a return. Five days passed and I did not hear back. I contacted Amazon and was informed that the seller had closed my return request because I had asked for it too late. I disputed this through Amazon and once again I was just told that I was outside the return window. I’m not sure how 10 days is not within the return window. I am not trying to return it damaged product just a product that was too small for my needs. Now I’m stuck with an item that cost me hundred of dollars and can’t use. I would not recommend working with the seller to purchase any products.

Freezer arrived defective and does not cool down. No response from Seller after requesting replacement.
