Can this tool use smaller clips?

The clips size range: CROWN 6.2mm×Width (19mm or 22 mm)×Height (12.3mm, 14.1mm or 15.5mm).

I want to use this to join 2 2mm wires. Is this the right tool? What size clips do I need to order with it?

The clips are made of carbon structural steel. It will be more than 7mm when it closes.

Worthless without separate clip order

How well does this work? I have no idea! The seller was great on rushing me the tool, but no (Zero) clips come with it so I have no idea if it even works. I did order a case of CL72 clips at the same time as this tool, but they're not slated to arrive for another 10 days!!! Very disappointing way to start off. I can only recommend this tool to you if you bought clips last month. Update: my separate order of clips arrived. This tool works well.
