## Questions & Answers

**Q: Is it a one time use or you can test multiple cars?**
A: You can run dozens and dozens of tests on different cars. Good for many years of use. Works as it was designed to do.

**Q: Does this work with any type of coolant?**
A: This product works with any ethylenglycol-based coolant. It does not matter if the coolant is an OAT (organic), IAT (inorganic/synthetic) or HOAT (hybrid).

**Q: How accurate is this thing? I just had my coolant replaced and it’s still reading below the recommended temp.**
A: Below is good when it comes to the coolant freezing.
Is it reading a low temp, or do you mean it's reading higher than what you need for freeze protection?

**Q: Will this work on a semi truck?**
A: As long as the coolant is ethylene glycol based.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Quality and accuracy.
*by S***N on March 10, 2024*

My old Mac Tools Coolant tester finally failed after 25 plus years. I was hesitant about the quality of the rubber hose and pump on the newer testers. Not working in the automotive field anymore, I didn't have access to the Mac tool truck or Snap 0n, etc. I figured with any manufacturer, the quality won't be the same as it was decades ago as far as the rubber goes. Just my thoughts. I purchased this coolant tester from Prestone a while ago now, and it has performed very well. The reading is the almost exactly the same as on my neighbors Mac tools newer tester, and the rubber quality seems good as well. How long it will last only time will tell, but I am happy that the quality was better than I expected it to be. I only give it four stars as the rubber parts are a bit stiffer and thinner than my old Mac Tools coolant tester, but they are still are solid and flexible enough to seem well built.
