I am in love with alcohol ink! Adirondack is by far the best brand.
I started with a kit and then thought I would expand and bought another brand. Mistake! Adirondack is the best for not leaking all over and had very vibrant colors. Some are very similar and since you can mix them, you can start with a few bottles and do a lot. In the first picture, I have some white tiles and marble coasters. I put sticky felt on the tiles (they are the square ones). I like how the marble looks a little better but for the price, tile is way more affordable. You can mess up and pretty much start over if you have a bottle of alcohol. If you like to paint but also like to experiment and make mistakes that can be wiped away - you really have to try this. My mom uses them to paint on aluminum cans and makes flowers. I tried the paper but you are limited in the "redo" area. The paper in the picture is the shiny silver card stock. The shine gives it a more vibrant look, though it doesn't wipe off easily like with the tile or marble. It will to a point, but it is paper. The sky really is the limit with these inks. You can use on so many surfaces where regular acrylic paint would scratch right off.

I love the ease and always different effects, I’m already wanting an airbrush. Good brand
I fad been trying to find a crafty way to use the art supplies I have already without buying the good stuff to make this alcohol ink. After many failed attempts, I ordered the good stuff “Ranger”, and it came on time, works so well with the Yupo paper too. I was worried it looked too cool or easy to get the awesome effects I have seen online with this brand and craft. Wrong! I am glad I got this actually affordable brand, I’m kind of addicted and would recommend it and definitely get the Yupo paper as well. You will be very happy to see the results immediately! It makes you feel like a pro right away. I would recommend it to anyone interested in this cool medium. It’s really good quality ink and supplies, and dangerously well stocked color ranges👍🏼🌈!

Glad I FINALLY order some!
I choose this brand of Alcohol Ink in these colors for two reasons; the price was reasonable, and the colors essentially are primary allowing you to mix and get more bang for your buck.I had seen Alcohol Inks in the past but was unimpressed at the amount you get vs the price so the thought of using it in my endeavors went on the back burner but that though with education became obsolete. I then saw a Pinterest Pin detailing it's use and the initial intrigue surfaced. I realized just how little you need for some seriously vibrant colors and knew it was time. First I practiced several techniques to get the look I desired on a white saucer (small plate). I was amazed as someone with no experience with this product, I could easily achieve wondrous results! With the colors you receive in this pack you can create a myriad of different shades and really was a joy/ therapeutic to work with. To say I'm excited by this new medium is an understatement, it is so easy to work with. I used isopropyl alcohol 91% as a blender, I want to try using lower percentages as well as they will "move" your ink differently. I would highly recommend this product and I'm so glad I gave it a try!

the stream color was too thick
the other 2 colors ran nicely, the stream color didnt run, created spots instead of spreading.

Beautiful colors and seems to hold the color after baking.
Beautiful colors and seems to hold the color after baking. Bright, bold colors with white clay, and even works well on other lighter colored clay -- yellow, light green, light blue, etc. Does not show up well on dark clay, of course. as expected.
