Is this silicone free?

NO IT IS NOT SILICONE FREE! Even though it claims to be free of silicone if you look at the ingredients Hydrolyzed Vegetable Protein PG-Propyl Silanetriol is listed. This is a silicone blend and will rob your hair of its natural moisture , just like all the other conditioners on the market

Can I use this longer than the 3 minutes it suggests ?..Perhaps overnight?

My dermatologist told me it's best to leave conditioners on for 6 minutes to properly soak into the hair. She said 3 minutes is too short of a time. I'm guessing overnight would be fine as long as it works for you! :)

I already have pretty thick hair thats wavy, i want a good 'slip', would this be a good conditioner?

My hair is fine, thin, and very fragile, so I'm always on the look out for the best slip possible. This has been an excellent choice for me. However, I use a lot (and let it soak in for a few minutes while I'm showering) before I try to finger detangle. This is fine with fine/thin hair. I worry that with thick hair, you'd have to use a LOT. (I use about 10 pumps on my hair, and then use 1 final pump as a leave in.) I'd suggest trying one bottle. If you end up having to use half the bottle for your hair you'll know this won't work for you. Slip wise, I think it will be good, but quantity may be an issue.

They have the ones for children different from the ones for adults and yea they are good products for both adults and children. I however recommend you buying it from Shea moisture’s site and not from amazon as they product quality wasn’t good when I made my purchase

GOOD hair up to a week!!!

A really great hair product, has really grown and strengthen my hair and the results lasts for up to a week "if" ur lazy to shower. Also prevents much damage to hair when using flat iron or curlers etc and it smells goood.

Quite pricey but this conditioner does not dry out my hair and does not give me any dandruff

As much as I'd like to not put conditioner near my scalp, I have very dry hair, even close to the roots. I guess it's because of UAE's very hard water. Given that, I use this conditioner on wash days and I feel my scalp lighter and cleaner and clears out any dandruff I have accumulated before that wash day.

Wow, what a great product! The scent is absolutely beautiful, and my hair stayed soft, luscious, and hydrated for days after the very first wash. I also noticed a visible reduction in psoriasis along my hairline, which was a fantastic surprise.
