We literally had just taken it out of the package, squished the donut we wanted the most out of the 6, and it cracked right down the center hole. Wasnt even painted yet. The paint was tragically short and not enough to paint 6 squishies. Luckily we craft so we had paint and better paint as it streaks and will require nore coats like others said. I successfully painted two after many days and coats of better paint. She wasnt as upset as I was. This was the second of a lot order and we ordered it just to get the donut...lol. EDIT: The sellers so graciously sent a new one. My daughter was next level ecstatic!!! Thanks for making me look like an awesome mam again!! After the week I had, this was heaven sent and I had to come back and change my review!!!

My 10 year old granddaughter is a huge fan of Moriah Elizabeth on youtube and loves watching her paint and repair squishies. This kit let her live out her dreams of being just like M.E. :) She had a paint party with her sister and cousins and they all had a great time making cute and fun art with this kit.

The squishies themselves are cool. A donut, an ice cream, a cat burger (?). They were soft and fairly well detailed. The problem was that they didn't take paint AT ALL. The paint that came with the kit was useless, and even when we used higher end acrylic paint, it took MULTIPLE coats for the squishies to accept paint, and even then, it would peel off with the slightest provocation. It definitely gave my daughter something to do for a couple afternoons, but I think it's way too expensive for what it is.

The quality of these squishies is great. They are very soft, and the bounce back slowly like they are meant to. The shapes are great and good quality foam. The only dissappintment was the paint. It's simple acrylic paint. If you watch bloggers who paint squishies, they tell you to paint with a flexible fabric type paint (puff paint). This kit comes with acrylic paint, which will paint nicely, but will crack and flake off the squishy quickly as you play with it (we've tried it before). But it was still worth it for the good quality blank canvas squishies and we got some puff paint in our own. If you want to get this just grab a set of fabric puff paint to go with it and the paint will last a lot longer if you plan on actually squishing them.

Terrible product. Very disappointing. I had ordered them to use for my grandchildren when they came for a sleepover. The paint was dried out and too thick. Did not stick to the squishes. The boys were very disappointed, but still like to squish them. However because the paint peeled and flaked off we had to remove all the paint so as not to be messy and dangerous to pets. leaving them stained and not fun at all. I will never purchase these again. I did order a second set and will be returning them.

The squshies are great. I recommend getting Tulip fabric paint for them if you want it to last and not crack. They're super easy to paint and look fantastic afterward. Great craft project for kids.
