Shark Antennas SKD3S Quick Disconnect 5-Pack for Mono Band HF Mobile Vertical Antennas with 3/8x24 Threads

These seem to be made of high quality materials. These will make it so much easier to change antennas on pota activations.

I can change out hamsticks in about 5 seconds... probably quicker if I tried. Solid connection every time.

I have these on my 3/8-24 stud mount on my Jeep and on several hamsticks and a Wolf River Coil antenna. This makes quick work of changing antennas. Would highly recomment

Why do they only give you one threaded mount? I am using the mfj that holds eight ham sitcks . I bought these 5 packs at Hro for 23 buck each but the one stud is not enough. I guess if you using them on a single mount its ok.

The springs in these attachments are so strong it would tale super human strength to compress them to install Shark antennas. It is 'way easier to screw and unscrew the Shark antennas than to compress the spring in this "quick Disconnect" screw.

I am a real stickler when comes to quality in the gear I exchange my money for. I can honestly say that the SKD3S are worth your efforts! In fact, this is the second set that I have purchased! Not a single regret! I love them! The Shark Hamsticks work well also for mobile operation. Logged Spain and Finland on 15m last month! I am sold on them, I just wish they would make a ham stick for 60 meter mobile operations.

These work as they should, compatible with other/older versions I have. Wish I could buy more of the female/socket parts, as I have more than 4 hamsticks I need to swap.
