It does have a slight odor, but that disappeared quickly after using. It goes on my skin well and doesn’t leave residue behind. It is lightweight but high quality and doesn’t take a lot of product. It smooths on easily and provides lasting hydration without leaving my skin oily.

I picked up the COSRX Oil Free Lotion with Birch Sap as a daily moisturizer for my acne-prone skin, and it's been a solid addition to my routine after a couple of weeks. The smell is stinky at first—like a weird herbal thing that hits you when you squeeze it out—but it fades away almost right away, so it's not a dealbreaker. Once it's on, it dries quickly and feels great, super lightweight without greasiness, and it hydrates without breaking me out. I've been using it morning and night, and my skin looks calmer with no new pimples. The pump bottle is handy for just the right amount, and the 3.38 fl. oz lasts a while.

Holy grail moisturizer! I have dry/combo/sensitive skin. Great for summers because it’s oil free and I use 2-3 pumps under my sunscreen and it leaves me hydrated all day. 3 pumps at night over my toner and serums. Fantastic for winter: 2-3 pumps in a.m. under sunscreen and 3-5 at night for extra moisture due to the dry air. This is great for “sandwiching” before I use retinol every other night. No sensitivity reaction and very soothing and hydrating for my skin. The finish leaves a slight film if I use too much, but it’s not sticky.

This hidrsting cream is excelent for oily skin. The coverage is light, so I do t feel I've applied anything in my face, and that's great. My skin stays moisturized for many hours and it helps controlling all the sweating and grease. The only thing is that I run out of it quickly. Lol

I have been repurchasing this for past 3 years. It has very lightweight consistency. Amazing for oily skin during hot summer days. It has a slight medicinal smell which I don’t mind. It works very well under makeup. This won’t be hydrating enough for dry dehydrated skin. Drys down to matte/semi matte.

Apparently this lotion is a "holy grail" product for many people, so I recently purchased it to see what the hype is about. I've been using it daily for a couple weeks now, and it's already a "holy grail" item for me! It has a very light texture that absorbs easily into the skin. The scent is not too strong, and very pleasant—like tea tree, and reminds me of a lighter version of the scent of COSRX Low pH Good Morning Gel Cleanser . This really is an extremely light lotion, and leaves absolutely no greasy or even soft residue on the skin. It has a more matte finish. My skin is neither particularly dry nor overly greasy, but I think this lotion would be suitable for even greasy skin since it's oil-free. This product is now an essential part of my daily daytime routine. I use just COSRX Natural BHA Skin Returning A-Sol and this lotion before sunscreen, and it is plenty hydrating enough for daytime wear. I do use richer, more emollient products for nighttime, but I've found that this lotion is perfect for reducing potential shininess in the course of the day—especially in the summer. I honestly don't know what birch sap is meant to do as a skincare ingredient, so I can't speak to that. I can say that this formula is exactly what I look for in a daytime lotion and has a permanent place in my skincare routine.

I have oily skin. When I find & read of a moisturizer that will control my oil on my face, I purchase it. Based on the reviews I had high hopes for COSRX. I applied this to my cleansed face with no serum on top. I waited until the weekend to try this for the first time to avoid my usual skin regime which would entail serum after cleansing & then my usual makeup regime. The moisturizer is clear & lightweight. It applied nicely. My skin felt soft & moisturized. I felt like my skin absorbed it. There was a little bit of an oily residue left behind which concerned me. Unfortunately within 30 minutes my skin became blotchy. There was a sticky feeling to my skin & my pores began to fill with oil. In less than 1 hour one would think I hadn’t washed my face. My face became stickier. After a hour I cleansed again & put a gentle moisturizer on & it took a couple hours for the blotches to go away. I don’t have sensitive skin. My skin is accustomed to harsher ingredients like retinol, benzoyl peroxide & salicylic acid since I’m acne prone & have oily skin. My skin didn’t like this. It’s obvious the birch sap in this moisturizer didn’t agree with my skin. The smell I felt was pleasant. I wish this worked for me. This is my personal experience & it didn’t work but I feel it’s a good moisturizer & could work for another, it just didn’t work for me.

Perfect texture for oily skin, I wear it every day as a daytime moisturizer. Perfect if you’re gonna wear make up

I have never been one for beauty products, I like a good face wash and from time to time I have used a cheap moisturiser with Grape oil that did the job. As I get old I felt that my skin was looking a bit tired and needed a refresh, so extensively researched various brands and came across this to try. It's a little bit more than I wanted to pay for a moisturiser if i am honest but I am pleased I put it to the test as it does the job intended. Things to note: It's not oily and it applies to the skin easily leaving it smooth and refreshed. Perfect for moisturising any dry areas It does have a funny smell but that soon dissipates A little goes a long way. Overall if you can get this on a deal then it's a no brainer to add to your morning and evening routine. A product that actually works is a blessing in a world of so many unnatural products.
