Fortress Portable Safe with Key Lock, Black (11K10)

I bought this to keep my fireproof money bags in for added security. The lock mechanism sometimes gets caught on the bags inside because of the way it closes so be aware of that when figuring out what size things will fit inside it. It does come with a foam insert that can be easily taken out or cut into if needed. I have not submerged this, but I don't think it would keep water out if it were fully submerged. It's metal all on the outside so it seems pretty sturdy in terms of drops and fire resistance. It could probably be pretty easily pried open by a determined person. I used fire resistant bags inside as well just for peace of mind though. Overall, it's a nice little safe for the price.

I purchased this item instead of another one that I wanted very much but that one said it came with a 36 inch cable and this one claimed it came with a 54.4 inch cable so I purchased this one. However once I opened the package I could tell right away that the cable was a lot shorter than the 54 inches! Then to my amazement the box the safe came is says it comes with a 18 inch cable????????? It actually did include a 36 inch cable so I could in fact have purchased the one that I actually wanted in the first place! What is wrong with these people can't they measure things properly or what????? The safe itself is nice, the steel is thick and heavy so I have to decide on whether or not I want to take the time an trouble to send this one back and buy the one I really want or not??????????

This is a nice box it was just a little smaller than what I expected.

Box is ok but they sent a cable that does not have the anchor for the box, save time and look for the ones that come right. Even they dont show that will send a 2 loop cable but not the proper anchor type. Its going back.

Great case for the price. You really do not need to spend $100 on some cool finger print one. This simple key lock does the purpose. Stuck a weapon brand sticker on it ànd it looks way more expensive than it is. No complaints. For the size it does the job very well.
