Just applying paint will look better than the scrapes, but not very good. Get fine grit sand paper and sand the surface flat first The color match will be so close you will not spot it afterwards. This paint goes on easily enough and dries fast. I like the included clear coat. This touch up paint doesn't hide the scrapes and dings on my truck but it makes the damage look much less obvious.
