Automatic Touchless Kitchen Trash Can 13 Gallon, Large Stainless Steel Kitchen Trash Can Garbage Can 50 Liter with Motion Sensor and Lid Batteries Required (Excluded)

The media could not be loaded. Finally found an automatic trash can that I like. I've been checking on Amazon for a touchless trash can for months, and me being so fussy, after adding it to my cart I would remove it because I always found something about it that I didn't like, until I came across this trash can and so the search ended! The sensor works great and I love that it is not as narrow like my old step trash can. It's easy to install, but folks remember to remove that black plastic holder for want of a better word that came inside the can.. That is NOT part if the trash can. It apparently was for packaging and shipping purposes, and if you don't remove it.....it will rip/tear your garbage bag evey time you attempt to remove your trash, and you're going to think something is wrong with the trash can lol. Anyway I really do like the sleek look of this can. There is also a button you can press to close or open the trash can manually if you're in a hurry.

I love the look of this stainless steel trash can. It does open sometime when i walk near by, however i am enjoying using it. Its a hands free great for a kitchen. Its my first automatic trash can and it is very nice so far! The package was little torn on the side and i was worried that it will be dented. Amazingly they have a hard plastic support inside, so that it does not get dent on it. I only had it for short period of time but so far this is good.

My husband and I were initially drawn to this touchless trash can for the price and the fact that it is, well, touchless. Who wants to touch garbage? Not I. After just a few months of use, the automated lid feature started dying, but we can replace the batteries. Right now we have to manually lift it since there is no foot pedal. It's annoying to have to replace the batteries so soon, but the trash can is nice and good bang for your buck.Pros:- Good quality design in the bin- Nice to look at- Sturdy- Holds a good amount of wasteCons:- Batteries ran out after just few months of normal use- Lid closes after 5 seconds- If placed under anything 8-12 inches above the can (like a shelf in a cabinet or countertop), the auto feature is triggered and it won't come down—it thinks there's a hand there the whole time. We had to remove a shelf in the cabinet it is housed in because of this.Overall a good purchase, but beware of the battery issue and the need to replace pretty often.

This is my first touchless trash can. I couldn't be happier. The trash can works as it should. One thing I really like about it is when your hand is in the opening say to push trash down the lid stays open until your hand is out. I live in a smaller apartment and space is limited. The designated area for the trash can is in the pantry. This trash can was literally the only one available to fit in my space. If your looking for a space saver this is it. At first I thought the gray inserts inside the can were part of the trash can. It was a struggle to get the bags in and out. I went back to the reviews and found one that explained that they were there to protect the can so it wouldn't get dented. The trash bags are very easy to get in and out. I think there is more than ample space for your trash. I don't have to empty it anymore than when I used my old trash can. I guess it would depend on how much you cook. All in all I am very pleased with this product. I would recommend it.

I am not sure where to start on the ineptitude of the design team. For starters, there is a black plastic piece in the top maybe to support the lid … but sometimes a family member puts the bag over this black piece other times, no. When the other time happens, this black piece gets trash all in it. If this was the only issue, this review would still be here. You may ask, why? The GENIUSES put a folded metal lip on the INSIDE of this can. What happens when you have a lip on the inside of a trash can? you may ask … Imagine throwing trash that doesn’t conform to the bag, let’s say a soda can, and it is beneath this lip when you pull the bag out … it gets stuck on the lip and pierces the bag making a hole … now imagine a can thrown away at the bottom of the bag, and lots of gooey trash above it … do you see where I am going with this !!! Avoid this trash can at all cost, find the “engineers” of this monstrosity and poor cold old gooey trash on them!

I had 2 different models of Simple human high-end trash cans with all fancy techs, like voice control etc. Both are failed after 6 months of usage and been replaced with new ones or lid's motor have been replaced. I ended up sending it back and get rid of both of them. Fortunately, i found this trashcan and i am very pleased! of course it doesn't have same technologies but it works flawlessly. I never had an issue with sensors and it is super easy to clean. I found couple downside of these trashcans, one of them is little bit loud motor and thin stainless steel cover. I kept brackets inside and it makes it little bit sturdier. Over all worth the money!

The automatic lid sensor, on the trash can, worked great initially; however, the battery compartment lid snapped off, fell into the can and was thrown out with the trash. Not long after, the entire battery compartment fell into the can and was thrown out with the trash. Replacement parts are not available, so the can’s lid is permanently rendered inoperable. Due to these issues, I wouldn’t recommend purchase this model.
