We already have a 10 litre version of the same heater but we had to have the 6 litre one here as it had to go fit into a small under sink cupboard.This size (up to 3kw) can be run off a standard 2.5mm T&E cable.Plumbing in a small cupboard can be awkward but can be done by a confident DIY'er.Important note though - the safety pressure valve comes with it but you will need 2 X male iron to 15mm adapters as they are not included.Picture shows my installation as it may help with your planning 🤔

This i .s an excellent energy efficient device Cheap to run with a power rating of 1.7KW and a 6L tank, enough hot water is produced after 15 min, to cater for normal amounts of family washing up. The adjustable thermostat at its maximum, produces very hot water which with dilution, extends the quantity of available hot water on tap. The heater fits neatly within a normal sized sink unit but requires both a qualified plumber and electrician to install it. An additional expansion pipe will also need to be purchased (readily available from most plumbing suppliers) but the low wattage means it can easily be incorporated into a normal domestic ring main

Difficult to install, a faulty pressure valve led to leaks that went through the ceiling. Ariston support replied but wouldn't provide replacement parts because I had used a normal plumber and not Ariston to install. Ended up costing 3 times more than the purchase price in install, replacing the valve and repainting the water damage. It works now though and the heating controls seem either burning hot or cold. Limited range inbetween.

This heater requires a professional installation and it is worth noting that no connections or cables are included. Now installed and working well.

This heater started to leak after three months use, it seems from other reports its a common problem. Amazon customer services were excellent, I called on a Sunday and a replacement was delivered in less than 24 hours and on a Bank Holiday! I would not have replaced like for like except all the plumbing had been customised to fit the first failed unit. Be aware that this unit does not come with a power lead nor any connectors so you will need spade connectors as well. I thought that these days all domestic equipment had to come with these important ancillaries. As a water heater it does work OK when not leaking!

Nice compact unit, needs to be installed by qualified persons though!
