I used this to repair and replace lacing on a papasan chair. Easy to work with and very durable.

Was just what I was looking for, they're plastic. Repaired 2 porch wicker chairs and then spray painted them black. Easy to work with and looks amazing, can't tell its not wicker.

The product states this is a gradient and the thoroughly show the variation in many photos and talk about it. I was not prepared for extreme color variance. Some of the roll is dark chocolate brown and other parts are light brown. If you are weaving in strands for repair on dark brown furniture it will be very noticeable. The piece in the photo has been repaired right to left. The replacement strands on the right are perfect. You can see the color change as you look left. That being said. I did order another bundle to finish the repair as the width and thickness are perfect for the type of weave-in repair that I am doing and the pluses out-weigh the color. There will also be cushions on top of this. Other things to note is the flexibility of this is highly flexible, making weaving easy. The strength is great as it does not rip easily.

This worked extremely well. We found some rattan chairs at a dumpster that had several bad tears and well worn damage. Used this kit to repair the damage and they look great! The only thing I would warn you about is I don’t think it can be glued with anything but epoxy! We tried at least 5 different glues and finally gave up…. Just cut pieces long enough to thread well past the damaged areas and tuck them in! Did not want to work with epoxy in tiny areas! Seems to be holding up well!

Easy to work with, and believe me, I’m not a crafty person! The plastic material is sturdier than wicker, but looks like wicker. Although it’s not an exact match, it’s much better than before when it was full of holes. It saved me from throwing the piece away. I did not need the weaving tool, and returned it. I’m still looking for a good adhesive for the loose ends however.

Bought these to restrain a wicker chair. It only came with the plastic strand. No glue and no " tool" it says to use. The material was NOT staying glued with e 6000, or super glue. I ended up using long strands to tuck into the weaving, then gluing and clamping over night. I haven't looked yet to see if it held

My plastic ratan/wicker chairs were looking terrible but the frames were strongly attached. So instead of buying replacements for around $200 each I tried this $20 kit and it worked. I googled utubes for video on how to to do this as the kit came with zero instructions. The videos were plenty and well done. I was able to make it look brand new according to my wife. I thought they looked good but not brand new good but way better. My pis shows one spot of before and after. Each chair had multiple spots even worse. All came out this good as in my pics. Very easy and quick to do.

I bought this to repair some patio furniture. It wasn’t a perfect color match but it was close enough. It’s quality material and easy to work with. It has held up for the last 2 years.

Bon état, livraison rapide. Ce rotin de plastique a été utilisé pour remplacer le rotin abîmé des bras de quatre chaises de patio. Résultat très satisfaisant. C’est un peu cher, ça ne couvre pas beaucoup mais ça a prolongé la vie de notre ensemble de patio. Les raccords ont été difficiles à faire parce qu’on avait pas une colle à prise rapide sur le plastique. Celle qui était suggérée par Amazon à l’achat du rotin, la colle E6000 plus, n’a pas bien fonctionné. Ce serait bien de vendre la bonne colle avec le rotin.

I took off the old wicker from arms and side and just wrapped the arm. I needed 2-3 orders for each chair. If you plan on doing the weave to fill in the space, double that at least. At that point, you may want to consider replacing the chair as it gets expensive and it isn’t easy to do. Also, I used a glue gun but glue doesn’t hold well, messy to work with and it shows in spots. I would have used a paste for outdoor weather if I did it again. The product itself seems good; no issues on quality.

I liked that it was plastic & malleable to handle when I did the weave repair. The edging of the weave on my chair top edge had split due to weathering making it hard & brittle therefore broke. However it was a smudge wider than my strings. I only did vertical weave repair so there was some room to do the work. It would not have worked on horizontal weave as there would be no space to manoeuvre even with a tool. So check the width. 8 mm seems standard but mine was like 6.5 mm. The color was not a great match but good enough. I only chose/ cut the darker dyed strings in the bundle. Get a longer overall footage than your project requires. You might have to weave more area than you realized. In the end I did not remove much of the original weave but weaved over top of it. It saved me from throwing out 3 patio chairs! Not a perfect job on my part, but good enough!

Exactly as I expected and seem very durable and high quality. The weaving itself was a tedious task, but this is a good strong product to do it with

measure the size before you buy, I still used it anyway and doesn't really look too bad. good price and quality.
