It worked!

It does the job at half the price of similar batteries at the hardware store. Also, it was much easier to find this battery on the web than wonder through the store searching the product.

This battery was used in a fire detector. They were so weak that it alarmed after a few seconds. I would give it a 0. I returned item for a refund. I had to pay $3.50 to have the label printed. The refund was only $9.19. I had to change my review. The smoke detector was put up by Brinks which I canceled. I now believe that once the original battery ran out it could not be replaced. Therefore I can not honestly review this item.

We use a security monitoring company for our home. I won't say which one, but it starts with an "A". We have one motion sensor in our system. The battery finally died in the motion sensor. The A company was willing to ship me a single battery for more than $10.00. I said no way Jose. So I went to Amazon. I got two for the price of 1/2 with the A company. And with Prime, I got it the next day. With the A company, it would have been 3-5 business days. Unless I wanted to pay an exorbitant expedited shipping charge. And now I have a spare for when it dies in two years. If it retains its charge that long. Even if it doesn't, it is still a bargain.

These are the batteries that go in the ADT motion, door and smoke detectors. They work well for six months with no reports of low battery. I waited to review to see if any early failures and good so far.
