I wanted to buy this Apricot body wash by St. Ives because I was looking for a better smelling body wash than Biotique Apricot body wash. Prior to buying this body wash, I had not used any product by this company. I have also bought one other body wash by St. Ives, which I am yet to try. I bought it a couple of weeks ago and have used it for a few days. The product I received was manufactured in March 2020, and it was imported in March 2021. It has 3 years of shelf life. The product did not have any sealing. I am not sure whether it is made in USA, New Zealand or Australia, but the product is good. When I first opened the cap and smelled it, the fragrance was okayish. It has a bit thicker consistency, but is still, a little runny. It requires slightly more quantity than other body washes to make good enough foam. I need to put it on a wet loofah and rub more, to make foam, because of its consistency. Its fragrance is slightly strong initially because fragrance is added, but after bath the fragrance feels good and natural. The fragrance remains for some time. Normally, I don't like fruity or flowery kind of fragrances, but this one smells good, and fresh too. But it has preservatives like Methylisothiazolinone and Methylchloroisothiazolinone, which I have seen used in many body washes, even in Dettol ones. When I compare it to Biotique body wash, this one feels more like a proper body wash but Biotique one is more natural, even though Biotique one does not smell that great, that seems to provide some kind of warmth and will be more useful in winter. This one by St. Ives can be used any time of the year. I bought a 400ml bottle for around Rs 275, and at this price it is a value for money product. I don't have any reason, so far, to deduct any star. Soon I will try the other body wash that I bought.
