Can we just get more of this please? Melissa Francis has a great easy to read story of teen vampiredom in a way you never imagined.  Not your cliche vampire story.  This one is fun, whimsical at times, but shares the reality that is a teenagers life - right down to the often ignored real sexual tension, and blended family woes.  Great story about AJ and her family, as well as the teen angst that comes with your boyfriend suddenly becoming a step brother.

A nice read.Noah was creepy. Mr Charles was bad. Malia weirded me out and made me suspicious. Bridget was okay. Rick was very nice as step-father. Aunt Doreen was awesome. AJ's mother was so and so. Ryan can be a sweety and a keeper at times, but he acted as a total jerk very often. I could totally feel for AJ. I would probably act and feel the same way she did, if I were in her place.I totally didn't like that AJ and Ryan had to sacrifice their love because their parents fell in love after they already had started dating. That totally bugged me.Ryan and AJ were really sweet together by the way.It's maybe more like 3.5 stars. Curious to read Love Sucks.

Bite Me! tells the story of 17 year-old AJ Ashe, who's holding in a big secret. She's a vampire. But vampires in AJ's world are different from your typical legendary vampires. They function perfectly well in daylight and they don't have to feed off humans. Instead, they drink hemo-shakes. When AJ's mother marries the father of the boy AJ is in love with, trouble starts. Now, she has to put aside her romantic feelings for Ryan and pretend their new melting pot family is one big modern Brady Bunch. Bite Me! is funny, spooky, and one fabulous read! I highly recommend it for both teens and adults, alike.
