Best privacy screen in the market for macbook pro 16 inch
The best protection for my MacBook Pro 16 inch. Best magnetic privacy screen as of now in the market.

Poorly designed and very weeak
It does not correctly fit the MacBook Air M2 and cuts off the menu bar. The magnets are too weak, and the screen barely stays on. Waste of money.

Not bad
It is good but not 100% privacy

The screen is not wholly covered
This product is not good. The way it is advertised is misleading. Its dimensions do not fit my laptop Dell XPS 13 9310 screen .... it is a total waste!

Awful. Won't stay up.
Don't buy this. It's extremely overpriced - it doesn't fit the screen at all. Terrible.

A really good privacy filter that actually stays when the Mac is closed! Having a privacy filter that allows the laptop lid to be closed is quite rare. Had earlier tried an off-brand filter but it always was bulky such that Mac couldn't go to sleep mood, forcing either to handle the filter separately or risk the mac being on while you throw it in bag. This filter doesn't require any special fitting, the magnets make it snug fit on the mac screen while keeping the camera uncovered if you need to have the call. The viewing angle is also perfect, even if you are sitting in crowded train or plan, its hard for those in neighboring seats to check on your screen. The only potential downside of this filter is the need to clean it after almost every use. The glossy finish means that if you happen to accidentally hold it in center, then the fingerprints and dust would accumulate and be visible.

Good adhesion, works well without dimming the display TOO much.

Do not buy this if you have a 16 inch M1 Macbook Pro. The thing doesn't fit as you can see from the photos. Apple has made only one model of 16 inch Macbook Pros. I don't know how Kensington can say that this is compatible with a 16 inch MBP when it's clearly not.

I purchased this screen cover for my 2018 15" Macbook Pro primarily to reduce screen glare, not so much for privacy. I use my Mac in my home office (where privacy isn't an issue) but I have a large window directly behind my desk which creates a lot of glare on my nice glossy MB screen. It's really hard to see what's on my screen during the daytime. Overall impressions: The Kensington MP15 Magnetic Privacy Screen does a pretty solid job both at reducing glare (when you have the matte finish facing out) and providing privacy to keep snooping eyes from picking up your bank login info. It adheres well to the screen and still allows the lid to close, though a slight gap is introduced and there is a slight reduction in the ability of the MBP's magnets to keep the lid closed. But this is a non-issue when it's on your desk or in a sleeve. The magnetic adhesion is awesome and makes installation and removal a breeze. I like that I can easily remove it when I want and it comes with a neat little protective storage sleeve. Since my main usage is for reducing glare, I primarily use the matte finish side. (The glossy side actually increases glare.) But, users who primarily want the cover for privacy and want to retain the glossy look of their screen will appreciate the glossy side. There is a noticeable reduction in screen brightness with the MP15 in place, but it's worth the reduction of glare and the screen is still bright enough. In fact, the reduction in glare means I don't need the screen quite as bright anyhow, so that's a wash in my opinion. The lid closes just fine with the screen in place and it strikes a good balance between reducing glare without reducing the screen brightness so much that it's hard to see. Pic 1: Screen off without the MP15 (lots of glare) Pic 2: Screen off with the MP15, matte finish side (significant reduction in glare) Pic 3: Screen off with the MP15, glossy finish side (Increase in glare compared to uncovered MBP screen) Pic 4: White background on screen without the MP15 (high glare) Pic 5: White background on screen with MP15, glossy finish side ((Increase in glare compared to uncovered MBP screen) Pic 6: White background on screen with MP15, matte finish side (reduction of glare) Pic 7: Left half of MBP screen uncovered, right half with matte finish MP15 Pic 8: Black background on screen without the MP15 (high glare, hardly readable) Pic 9: Black background on screen with the glossy MP15 (high glare, even worse than without the MP15) Pic 10: Black background on screen with the MP15 matte side (reduced glare, readable without eye strain) Pic 11: MBP screen at sharp angle without MP15 (Screen contents still highly visible) Pic 12: MBP screen at low angle with MP15 matte (Screen contents mostly obscured) Pic 13: MBP screen at sharp angle with MP15 matte (Screen contents completely obscured) Pic 14: MP15 adheres with magnets to the top but not the bottom of the screen, meaning that the MP15 will have a gap if the screen is angled at less than 90 degrees to the keyboard. Does not interfere with closing the MBP lid. Pic 15: Perfect sizing of the MP15 ensures that it sits just inside the slightly raised bezel of the 15" MBP screen. Pic 16: Slight gap when the MBP lid is closed with the MP15 in place, but does not interfere with sleep mode.

Using on a 2017 MacBook, and it fits great. Laptop closes without any difficulty and provides great privacy.
