I have really dark brown hair. What color mascara do I get?

I often change color of mascara according to time of day and season. I have medium brown auburn hair so in summer I like to wear a dark brown since the days are longer and black can look severe in daylight. In winter though ( I live up north) with less sun and cloudy days I think black is better. The occasion can can also determine color choice evening parties and darker nightclubs call for black mascara. Go with what you fell is right.. I like this mascara because I trust neutrogena.

Is the brown really brown?

I wish I could help you but beware l ordered brown and got black brown.

Is this safe to use for blacking out a tooth (for a Halloween costume)?

You would need to look at the ingredients. Personally, I would not put it inside my mouth. It might chip off, and you would be ingesting the chemicals which can't be good. There are lots of pencils/crayons made for Halloween costumes.

is this hypoallergenic?

It doesn’t say it is, but I have had reactions to other mascaras, but not to this one

Great maskara, value for money !

My eye lashes are loving this!!! I have very senstive everything.. eyes, skin and all. Been using different maskara brands on and off.. and i woul always either get burnin senstiom or irritation.. and find that my lashes are falling off.. None of this happened ever since ive started using this particular one. Value for money !
