It is important to note that the diffraction film is not waterproof. Even glue will smudge or erase the diffraction lines. However, it is very beautiful in art pieces... it makes a great addition to suncatchers.

Hecka pricey but you are here seeing it, so you already know that. Buy this instead of coffee because seeing these rainbows will make you feel better than coffee does! :-) If you are wild for rainbows and you have it, get it! You won't regret it, so long as you have a window that really gets good sun. Tape it up on that window. You can remove the tape and relocate it so long as you use the right kind of tape that will easily remove without damaging. Film is a bit delicate so handle with care. And whatever you do don't drop it! Especially if you have pets. This product is a static-fuzz-magnet to any wispies!!! It's different from prisms in that it doesn't fracture up the rainbow light. It gives a single pure chunky solid rainbow, not a rainbow pattern. You could always cut it into shapes and get all artsy if you want a pattern. Just read general directions and face it the right way. An extra unexpected delight: If you put it up and get close to it, look outside THROUGH it, at least facing the film one way but maybe either way...tree lines and other edges get a reverse rainbow halo effect. So the halo is inside the object outside instead of being like a halo or aura around something. It's heavenly wonderfulness! We all might start wishing EVERY window was south facing. This stuff will inspire the minds of creatives and the rainbows will bring joy to everyone and anyone. 100% good gift for rainbow fenatics!
