It is heavy duty and it looks nice! Fits our 2" hitch. It does extend out about 2 ft from the back of the vehicle, but it allows the back to open without henderance. It does sit tightly against the vehicle once folded up. We have not been able to fully use it yet. I will review it once we return from our trip. It fits our 2015 Nissan Pathfinder and our 1999 Chevy Tahoe... it is a great size! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Very happy I bought it. *by G***D on Reviewed in the United States on December 25, 2016* This cargo carrier was easy to assemble and attach to our SUV. I used it on a 1,000 mile round trip with no issues and it performed beautifully. No wobbling or noise. I was able to pack it up, tarp and strap everything down on it the night before we left and then with the help of my son, install it to the hitch and take off the next morning with little hassle. The only complaint I have is that there is some mismatch on the holes for the pin that holds the rack in the upright position. I can get the pin through with a hammer but it should slide through more easily. I think this is in line with other reviewer's comments on similar issues with the construction so you may need to be ready to do some slight modification such as opening up some hole sizes if you order this model. ### ⭐ Terrible quality requiring modification just to assemble. *by A***R on Reviewed in the United States on July 4, 2018* It served its purpose. If I had enough time between when I received it and needed it I would have returned it. The powder coating was sub par. There was oil left on the still from manufacturing it that was not cleaned off properly before powder coating. This caused the powder coat to peel in several places before I received it. One of the support brackets that connect to the main bar that connects to the trailer hitch was manufactured incorrectly as well. The piece has three shots machined in it then is formed instead of being formed first. After the shots were machined the flat plate was loaded backwards into the machine that formed it causing the slots to be in the bend instead of the side wall.
