A: I’m not sure 100% about what to do about this, but I’d try and find a way to contact the seller about a refund, if not an amazon sales rep

A: I haven't used it much, it is a nice mug. The one time I put it in the dishwasher a bit of the smoke was missing, so i suggest hand washing it.
