## Description

ragon Skin FX-Pro is a soft, stable, high performance platinum silicone rubber specifically designed for creating silicone makeup appliances and skin effects. Dragon Skin FX-Pro is compatible with Skin-Tite silicone adhesive as well as medical grade pressure sensitive adhesives for adhering silicone appliances temporarily to the skin. Soft and stretchy FX-Pro has a Shore hardness of 2A. FX-Pro can be combined with SLACKER deadening agent to create a very soft silicone gel for filling encapsulated silicone pieces. An infinite number of color effects can be achieved by adding Silc-Pig silicone pigments. Cured rubber can also be painted with the Psycho Paint system.

**Q: Can I pour this into a smooth on rubber mold I've already made? Then can I make a casting of this new flexible model I make with smooth on rubber?**
A: Yes you sure can, since dragon skin is a platinum cure silicone you need to pour it into a platinum cure silicone mold. If your mold is tin cure, dragon skin will not cure properly. Make sure you use a good coat of mold release and you'll be good. Best of luck!

**Q: Haven't tried it yet, but will I need a vacuum chamber to degass like regular Dragon Skin?**
A: I have made several prosthetics from it and haven't degassed any of them

**Q: Will the trial size cover a sculpt of a face mask?**
A: Yes, the trial size will be plenty, but it's very soft. Dragonskin FX is usually used as a prosthetic. Picture this...if you sculpt a false nose from clay, make a mold of it with resin or plaster, Dragonskin FX is what you would use to cast the false nose to stick onto your real nose. Does that make sense?

**Q: How firm or hard is this when dry? is it similar to jello, tire thread,  or something else? Thanks!**

It’s so stretchy and strong, I’ve made tens of copies and haven’t noticed any degradation yet. My other moulds made from let’s resin wore out very quickly. This is worth the slightly higher cost. It degassed well, very little bubbles. The working time is very short but the instruction say that. It’s pretty great to have a workable mould you can use in under an hour. It’s very thick, so plan to use more than normal. Or if you run out, just mix up another batch. I had to do that and it was seamless even though one layer went down about twenty mins before the other. Also, this company has amazing service. Call them with questions, they’re super helpful.
