Some of them multiple times. they appear to to real stainless steel and have been through the dish washer at least a couple of times each. So far no sign of rust or malfunction. I really like the heavy gauge metal and the way they made a guide for the bottom to slide trough. a very good design, in my opinion, compared to others I looked at on line and in stores. So far I am very HAPPY with my purchase. To be fair they are a little hard to clean just from the dish washer I found a small amount of food stuck in the hinge area. It was easily cleaned by hand, you just have to do a visual inspection to make sure they are clean when unloading.
