When Used with an Irrigation System, It Is Very Effective, Even in a Swamp
Many reviewers use this product differently. This review is for the "All-in" approach of using the concentrate regularly with the companion hardware, known as the Sprinkler Magician. The concentrate and system regularly covers our entire lawn (1 to 2 times per week) by injecting the concentrate into the irrigation system zones and running each zone for a few minutes. It is very effective against mosquitos and noseeums in Southwest Florida, aka the Swamp. Prior to the Sprinkler Magician / Mosquito Magician system, we had tried one of the equally comprehensive Misting Systems that spray a mist of Pyrethrins around the yard. It did kill bugs when applied on a very still (no wind) day, but they would come back - sometimes as quickly as 15 minutes. We had the system removed at the end of 30 days because it was not providing good results, was very expensive, and we were concerned about health effects of the Pyrethrins after reading more about them. Sprinkler Magician is also expensive, but less. In the Swamp, it's worth the cost. After two weeks, mosquitos were noticeably decreased. By month of twice per week irrigations with Mosquito Magician, mosquitos were not a problem anymore and we scaled back to once-a-week applications. It has worked well for over a year. Noseeums are a little tougher. They are reduced, but when conditions are ripe for noseeums and we want to enjoy the yard in the evening, we manually trigger an irrigation before going outside. It's effective about 2/3's of the time. 1/3 of the time, we'd need to also apply repellant or go back inside. The smell of the product is nice. Friends and neighbors like it, too. Seems much safer than the Pyrethrins.

Absolutely Works - Frank Ruscingno, New Jersey
This stuff works. I have been using Mosquito Magician I would say 7 to 8 years now. The thing no one seems to consider is this, this stuff is great, knocks down my Mosquito population for sure. I spray it once a week with a combo of fogging it every other spray at a concentration of 4 ounces per gallon. This gives me 32 gallons of spray hence 32 weeks of spraying. If I see rain in the forecast I hold off spraying until I see at least two to three days of no rain forecasted. It's expensive so I don't want to waste time and money spraying around rain. Do I still see Mosquitoes, yes I do but at a very, very reduced rate. Nothing natural and even insecticidal made on planet earth is going to eradicate every Mosquito, NOTHING. But this is what people need to know. I spray once a week, have bunches of Mosquito plants that they hate the smell of all around my yard and entrances to my house. I make concentrated efforts on all bushes and places they love to hide also. Mosquito control is more than just spraying. My complaint by me and I'm sure most people would agree with this is my surrounding neighbors and businesses do absolutely nothing. Some aren't even cutting grass and weeds which create a tremendous Mosquito issue. So to compensate I spray more frequently which at least makes it bearable. So the bottom line is this, chemicals and treatments would work spectacularly if everyone in the general area of our houses would spray also but in my experience that's not going to happen. So continue using this stuff but combine it with Mosquito hating plants and other things like maybe a killing trap or even a bucket of water away from your general area with Mosquito donuts in the water. They come, lay their eggs and they all die from the Mosquito dunks, hence if they don't hatch you just eliminated thousands of new biters. I wish everyone good luck with this, I hate summer because of this annoying nonsense but it is what it is.

Events only.
I sprayed it one day the next day I didn’t get bit once by mosquitoes. But the following day they came back with a vengeance. I got bit more than I ever got bit. Could’ve just been the hot weather, but it only works for about 24 hours so I would use the product again, but only if I’m having an event with a bunch of people over and I want to protect those people

Waste of money
Sure it's easy to use, but that is about the extent of this stuff as far as benefit. I feel like I wasted $100.00 on a product that just made my yard smell like a pungent essential oil candle. We have had a serious mosquito issue at our home in Gulf Shores AL this summer. I've used this twice, and it didn't do anything to reduce the mosquitos in our yard. For whatever reason, this year has been horrible for mosquitos....thousands of them around our home. I mixed and sprayed 3 gallons around the house yesterday evening right before dark when the wind had died down, woke up today to the same concentration of mosquitos. The only thing I've seen that seems to eliminate them is the permethrin insecticide (I've had to buy multiple cans of the "Cutters" mosquito spray), which drops them like flies instantaneously. But buying cans of the stuff at $7 isn't cheap and isn't a large-scale solution to the problem, nor is it particularly safe to use if you have animals or kids playing in the yard. Before resorting to using Permethrin with the fogger machine (I bought one this summer) I tried this first as it claims to be the "Natural" approach to minimize the pesticide dangers, but for me, this was a waste of time, money and continued mosquito exposure. Save the money and just get the hard-core stuff unless you want to do the "mosquito dance" in your yard while you spread this stinky stuff around your house and try to avoid getting feasted on. It may not be the solution you'd hoped for, but when you compare the lesser of two evils...I'll treat the concentrated areas of the yard where they seem to accumulate and take my dog out to the less invaded areas of the yard for his "business".

Very expensive with okay results
I like that’s it’s very natural product and pretty easy to use. Only issue I have is the smell is pretty back like lemons with bad garlic smell. The other issue I have is that it’s results are okay? I found this worked for about 3-4 days but after that these mosquitos came back in droves…. I even re-applied and it worked for the same amount of time. I don’t think this stuff works great near bodies of water or if you have a humid environment as it does settle correctly or it deteriorates quickly. The only results I’ve seen is near very dry areas and even at best it still doesn’t last too long. Kinda wish such an expensive product had much better results, I only got this as I didn’t want to harm my dogs at all.

Good Stuff
This stuff works well and we like it because we don't have to worry about spraying it where our dogs play. It doesn't work as well, or last as long as bifenthrin based products, but the human/animal safety seems worth a couple of extra applications.

Mosquitos
If you hate (such a strong word) mosquitoes as much as I do then you need to use this product. I started with a heavy initial spray and have been spraying every 2 weeks since our purchase in April 2023. It does not smell the best due to the natural ingredients but I’ll put up with the initial smell as long I’m not being bitten. We were paying a national pest control company $59.95 every 3 weeks, here’s the best part…..I would be bitten 4 to 5 times right after they would spray. I spray everything fences, under eaves, shrubbery, any garage venting, around the doors, in our patio drains possibly more areas but you get the idea. I have learned one thing is that smells attract them and smells keep them away. Other insects that I have personally seen this work on ( remember his is my experience and these are not listed on the label) upon direct contact when I’m spraying have been….Black Widows, Yellow Wasps, Moths, Earwings could be others that I have not seen…….but I can say I truly love this product. Lastly you need to follow the directions, do your first initial spray, then every 2 weeks follow up. It is nice to be able to be outside as well as taking my hiker boots off before I come in the house and be bitten. I may spray weekly as the California summer ramps up but again it’s a small price to pay not to be bitten. WELL here’s the latest does it work or have I been sucked dry like normal. So before I continue let me say, I was spraying every 2 weeks, I have moved to once a week as recommended. Living in the IE of So Cal close to the base of the Running Springs/Big Bear Mountains we get some rain and humid days along with 100+ temps. Perfect breading grounds for those blood suckers. I have to say I have been bitten 2 times……so does it work hell yes it does. You need to follow the directions and spray it not just spray. As stated before and by others the smell is not the best it is a strong garlic/pepper smell….but hey you’ll learn to not mind the smell. I spray almost 3 gallons, go around doors, garage vents, garage door, around the bottom of our spa. I even spray in the water drains to ensure I hit all areas where they could be. I was not happy when I noticed I had been bitten as I had gone past my once a week by 4 days. After I was bitten I grabbed my trusty Witch Hazel soaked 2 round makeup flat round cotton pieces and laid them on the bites. That relieved the bites then covered then with the copper color mosquito discs that I purchased here at Amazon. I know I will not go back and have a professional spray our yard again. With the money we are saving and me not being in pain from all the bites we re taking our granddaughters on a mini vacation to the Aquarium. So if your thinking about trying this you truly have nothing to lose if you use it as recommended.

Quality Product with Results
Excellent product. Easy to use with proper equipment and following directions. In New England, spray is effective 2 plus weeks, assuming minimal rain. Works well with mosquitoes, only partially successful with black flies. Repeat customer last few years.
