The only negatives are the temporary plastic odor when you first unwrap it (vanishes after a couple of days), also it does tend to pick up any spec of anything from the floor - but straightforward to wipe down. They are very high quality. I wipe them down with an essential oil based cleaner after each use with just a cotton washcloth to keep them sanitized between clients and allow them to hang dry naturally over a wooden rod. I monitor the bands regularly and set aside any that get small tears. I usually cut off the bad part and set the remaining long part for other use.
