Very nice brushes

These are great brushes with a really good "spring" and hold their shape nicely. I use them for acrylic painting (with Golden fluid acrylics and heavier body paints) and they do a beautiful job. They also stand up an entire painting session without being cleaned- they clean up nicely after a few hours on the palette. Great selection for a good price. I ordered these and the angular set and they compliment each other nicely.

I have purchased other sets of brushes with only 4 brushes to the set and the bristles broke down much sooner that I expected; I use my brushes for my model rairoad needs and these work great with water base and oil base paints. It is a very good set of brushes for what I need them for.

Item not as described. Brushes are too soft for mixed media use. It says free returns, but may not get full refund?

I'm not an experienced painter, these are my first foray into quality brushes. The brushes themselves seem to work quite well, this is compared to the very cheap brushes I've been using. I have noticed that the black paint on the ferrel is wearing off from rigorous cleaning, they seem to require a gentler approach then I've given them. Overall I believe a nice set for the price and I imagine they will last a long time.
