dear trailblazer: inks for fountain pens vary widely in their resistance to water, most of them even labeled as permanent will seriously be damaged by serious immersion, parker quink is a good ink but in the end is water soluble or mildly water-resistant to be scientifically proper, therefore your writing , if sprinkled or lightly sprayed, will be partially damaged but not fully erased unless you get it to the bathtub, if you want a real waterproof in you need to search for an "accountant" permanent ink, pilot - namiki comes to mind, but be aware that such an ink will seriously build deposit thus eventually blocking your feeding system and requiring a deep cleaning, just so you know...good luck and write a lot!!!

Q: Can you use this with an inkwell for pen

I've only used it in fountain pens, but it should work well in an inkwell. It's relatively quick drying though, so be careful not to leave it out and uncovered for long.

Q: can this be used in brush pens?

I don't know for sure, but I imagine it could be used for anything that uses ink, so long as there's a way to refill the brush pen.

dear juan: this is one of the best inks in the market ever , made in france despite the parker name, is good for any fountain pen and keeps you pen in decent shape without leaving unwanted residue plus is very good looking on the right kind of paper, though i am not too old i have been using quink since the 1960´s, without regrets, even if i try some new ink every now and then (J herbin would be a good recommendation or waterman) always come back to quink because its excellent quality and fair price, amazon is the best place to buy it!
