why does soap taste bad

Soap tastes bad in order to stop people from eating it.

Are the bars of soap in individual boxes/wrapping within the larger box? I want to buy these to donate, but they need to be individually packaged.

They are in individual boxes and then shrink wrapped. So yes individual boxes.

Im looking for 1 oz.Dove bars to keep in my travel toilety bag.

I see them in my local BedBbath&B store in the travel size section. Never saw them on amazon.
