Can I gargle or just rinse ?

You can rinse then gargle. I rinse for at least 30 seconds and gargle at the end.

Does this mouthwash work its best right away, or does it take a week or two to reach its max effect?

How does this product compare to Closys?

Hello. Haven't tried Closys, but this is not good stuff. First of all, it does not work! It has a terrible taste, and is one of the most "messy" products on the market. It just goes everywhere, even with practice. Just don't do it.
