Is the paint reapplied or strictly original?

Usually the pain is re-applied, since the original has peeled off or faded.

How do we know it's real?

It has a certificate saying it is. I believe it is. I haven't read anything saying it's fake. I did some research on it prior to buying. It's pretty cool.

What is the difference between city divided and Berlin

There is no difference between Berlin and divided city. It refers to the time from 08/13/1961 to 11/09/1989 when Berlin was a divided city.
