Featuring modular EVA foam dividers for customizable protection and multiple access points, it minimizes bulk while maximizing gear safety. Its multipurpose skin doubles as a dust-proof storage bag and a stylish crossbody for quick excursions, making it the perfect companion for professionals who demand flexibility, durability, and sleek portability. ## Description Mirrorless DSLR Cameras - Designed for mirrorless or grippy DSLR bodies with a mounted lens of up to 70-200mm. It can optionally hold 2-3 lenses and accessories. Modular Configurations - Core units allow side and rear access configurations, and they can be mixed and matched to increase or decrease camera capacity as needed. This system ensures that you never carry more padding and weight than absolutely necessary to protect the camera kit of the day, and that the remaining packing space can be dedicated to clothing and personal equipment. Lightweight, Water Resistant & Multipurpose Skin - The main function of the included skin is a storage bag for the padded core units, ideal when your gear is at home and not in use. It keeps the core unit sealed and dust free. Its secondary function is to be used as a packing cell. A user can fill it with clothes or other common items and pack it in their backpack or carry-on roll. The Small Skin features an adjustable strap to use as a convenient, lightweight shoulder bag for a quick hike from the Basecamp or a walk through a new city. EVA Protective Case & Dividers - Walls and dividers are constructed with EVA, which provides much more protection than cheaper PE foams in most camera bags. With EVA, we have more control over the density and quality of the materials used to protect your equipment. This also means that our walls can be thinner and require less internal volume while still providing excellent protection. MINIMALIST CONSTRUCTION - The jersey outer shell and tricot lining are laminated with the EVA. By tightening and simplifying the design in this way, we can eliminate any sagginess and movement with dividers. The shape of the actual divider strips has a unique inward tapered shape. This simple concept makes setting up and adjusting the core unit much easier by limiting the catch of the fastener and pulling on the sidewall material. READ MORE OVERVIEW The small core unit is an easy use with a variety of applications. It is designed to be used alone or in combination with up to three additional core units to expand the amount of protected device in a Shimoda pack or reel as more camera equipment is needed. By interrupting device protection in modules, the user can minimize weight and bulk and never wear more padded sections than needed for the day camera kit. The inserts can be configured to allow simultaneous access to the rear camera, side and top, and adjust the bag to suit the user's shooting style and the terrain in front of them. The small core unit contains a multi-purpose skin that is lightweight and packable. The main function of the skin is as a storage case for the padded core unit. When the equipment is at home and not in use, the skin in the core unit keeps sealed and dust free. Its secondary function is as a packing cell. A user can fill it with clothes or other common items and pack it in their backpack or carry-on roll. The third feature is to act as a shoulder bag, so a camera kit can be packed into the small core unit and taken with you on a quick hike from base camp or a casual walk through the city when travelling.
